Is it ridiculous to start in with the Xmas shit at the end of October? Am I alone in thinking that some of the nitwits in this country go way overboard and are an embarrassment to us all?

I haven't posted yet but I think it wouldn't hurt to get some feedback (from women, the people in whom I have an interest).

I won't post clear pics of my face on my profile, because it is not a good idea. Human resources use social networking sites like this to weed through stacks of resumes, and there are other agencies that use any info they can get of ours for all sorts of purposes. Watch the news or read 1984.

My question (again for the women here) is, is it really so bad to attach a face picture in an initial email?

How is that any different that posting a pic?

Hello and welcome to the forums the discussion side of the site.

Okay first this does not belong under intro, I will send the Mods a note and they will put it where it belongs.

Second........if someone wishes to decorate for Christmas in the middle of summer that is their business not ours, or in my opinion anyhow.

Third.......anyone can answer questions here as you posted your question on the forums. If you wish only women to answer your questions then only ask them through your profile.

Forth......Below are the forum rankings they uses, they are based on levels of corruption the more you post to the forum, the more "corrupted" you become *grins*

1-24 = Vanilla
25-49= Curious
50-74 = Newbie
75-99 = Kinky
100-199 = Indecent
200-299 = Twisted
300-399 = Deviant
400-499 = Perverted
500-999 = Corrupted
1000-1499 = Wicked
1500-1999 = Evil
2000-9999 = Deranged
10000-14999 = Insane
15000+ = Condemned

Welcome to the forums.

You might read the FAQs and other stickies provided at the top of each forum. They are full of information such as forum rankings and what is appropriate or not appropriate to post in a particular forum.

What I think is rather ridiculous is to wait until the end of November to bitch about what happened in October. At this time of year I am starting my decorations. Have gotten them out. Have made sure all the lights work. Bought batteries the other day for those items needing them.

I'm not worried about you I'm worried about PRISM and/or local HR departments. Of course I know my screen name is the same on every website, where someone didn't copy it and get there first :-)
What I need to know is can anyone use my link my profiles to me? Because, as we all should know by now, anything you put online is used against you to deny you work and break pretty much every constitutional right that we used to have 30 years ago...

So I guess what I'm asking is, that you weren't able to find any real information about me?

I used to like Yule Tide - but turning it into a quarter of the year has taken away everything special about it. That's all I'm trying to say.
Of course I can't order anyone to keep their decoration to the month that the holiday is in - I'm suggesting why we should.

Your question about the vanilla cone/forum ranking for posts has been answered. I'll try to answer the other two.

Is it bad not to post a clear face pic and send one via email instead? That depends on who you talk to. Most of the women who have been members of this site for some time will tell you that, unless we know a person, chances are, we don't want to see what is coming in that 'happy little attachment' that comes in an email. Unlike the hover feature to read the words, we can't preview the pics. That means we don't know if it's your face, your genitals, or the famous brown eye. If something comes with an attachment when it's an email from somebody that I don't know, I delete it. (I generally delete emails from people I don't know anyway, unless they are local or a member of the forums.)

As to Christmas coming too early, I've got a much different point of view. I happen to live in Alaska. By the day after Thanksgiving, there's already extreme cold here. For these conditions, I couldn't imagine anybody waiting that long if they are going to hang lights outside. You want to get those suckers up before the temperatures going below freezing.

Thanks for the reminder to get out the lights. Mine are so easy: a 'bouquet' of multi-colored LEDs arranged like flowers in a carved crystal vase. Stick in window, plug in, done. Then go to the real work: finding the menorah and all the dang candles it's gonna need if I light 'em every night.

As for pictures: I have easily identifiable pictures on my profile and don't mind sending G-rated others to members. I work with senior care facilities as an independent contractor (musician). If someone thought I wasn't fit for entertaining their residents because I have a profile on CM, that would suck. But I have all the work I can handle , so I don't spend much time pondering. Other folks may need more discretion. Do what feels comfortable for you, and for gawd's sake, keep it G-rated. That's just a matter of good taste as well as protection down the road. Your avatar: perfect, keep it (doesn't hurt that I'm a sailor who happens to like striped spinnakers ;-)

I love Christmas, if I could get away with it I would decorate in October but I would get a hell of a spanking and not the fun kind. ;)

I don't post a picture of myself but then again I am not looking for any kind of relationship so it doesn't matter what I look like. If you are worried then don't post one but I would say that pictures on sites like these do not mean much since I can go almost anywhere and copy a picture to my computer then post it, so your picture showing up would not be that big of a deal.

i dont mind posting face pics on sites, mostly because i dont use social networks and the ooolllldddd facebook i had still thinks i live in china mauahahaha... i really doubt that any job i got would be able to connect the dots, from a picture of me dressed up and fetishy to a picture of what i look like in work gear. it would be more likely that an individual i was sending private pics to would take the time to discern my location than an employer with a pile of resumes.... in fact i'm very careful about what private pictures i post if they are of a current living situation, i usually dont post pictures at all until i am no longer living in that place, because i have been found walking down a street on multiple occasions based off of someone recognizing a coffee shop, or a restaurant, or a parking lot layout, or piecing together what convention i was working at, oh or back 7 years ago someone whom checked every single store in which employees wore navy blue uniforms until he found where i worked... and got me fired because i wouldnt give him head. i was actually quite impressed with that much determination considering he didnt have a car and whatnot... these days however i just avoid the need for such situations.
