They used to use cardboard cops alongside the roads here to stop speedsters................they worked too. I often wonder why they were discontinued................Maybe the cardboard cops got stolen by cardboard thieves ??

Naa, they don't use cardboard cops for speeders... they park a broken down patrol car with a manikin in a police uniform with fake radar gun. I think there has been one of those in the median of I-95 in Vidalia Georgia for ten years... they move it with a tow truck every few days to a different part of the median so people don't get inured to seeing it at a certain place.
