What do you think are some of SNL's funniest skits?
Lately I've been watching some on You Tube. I LOVE "Sean Connery" on "JEOPARDY."
One of the parts has "Therapists" for a category.
Sean Connery says; "give me The Rapists for $500 Alex!"
Alex says; IT'S THERAPISTS!"
Sean Connery says; "Ah,...that'sh no-t what your mutha told me last night Trebec!"

+1 for both Sean Connery/Jeopardy and Schwety Balls. Those are classics.

The stuff this season is just not that funny to me. I wish they would keep some of the funnier cast members longer, like Bill Hader. Every single thing he did was hilarious, but my favorite was 'Stefan'. He did it so well he couldn't help cracking himself up from time to time.

Oh yeah, "Stefan", that was funny as hell.
A guy being asked his opinion on some good family type places to go to on the weekend and him recommending the filthiest, kinkiest places in the city! "They have transexual midgets there the kids will love it."

'Port of Call... Bayonne New Jersey', the fake Navy recruiting commercial complete with 'rock guitar' soundtrack from the 1st season.  Probably because I was in the Navy at the time.

Season 2 was toy maker Irwin Mainway in 'Consumer Probe' with Dan Akroyd selling kid's products like 'Bag O' Glass' and 'Doggie Dentist'...

And Olympia Café is iconic.

I thought I was the only person left that remembered the Navy recruiting send-up.

My personal favorite has to be "Land shark"

Oh yeah, The Church Lady! I LOVED that one!
I think most people could relate to that one because most churches have a few women like that.
Was it Martin Short who did that?

Gilda Radner also did a "take-off" on a local news celebrity (NOT Baba Wawa) Roseanne Scamardella (I'm going to have to look that up). When Gilda "did" her, she was "Roseanne Rosanadana".

ETA: I was hoping to find a clip of Ms. Scamardella. All I found was a page that gives a history of the station and mentions her (about halfway down "Eyewitness News 1974 11 PM")

There was a bunch of talent on that news broadcast, Geraldo Rivera (before Capone's vault) amongst them.

Dana Carvey was Church Lady! He also did a great George Bush... so good in fact that he was invited to the White House to perform!
