Say what? If you only respond to those who message you first, how is that taking the power away? By only interacting with those who message you, it seems you're giving the submissive the power of choice.

It's just how I feel. I never pretended to be completely logical. But writing subs feels too much like begging. But others will not be the same. There's room enough for all. Professor Apple

Since you are a pro/findomme, then I agree it's best to let subs come to you or it probably would come across as begging, or at least unsolicited marketing. There isn't really a classy way to contact someone and say, 'hey, I'd be open to having you pay for my company.'
