There is a neat comic that has a character that prefers dominatrix and mistress relationships. She's a great character, and I really enjoyed the dilemma she is facing as it's one that I often face as well. They want a relationship, and they really like the person, but they are worried about scaring them away. It's a pretty terrible feeling, trying to be honest with someone you care for and wondering if they are too vanilla or will be have hard limits you can't get past. I enjoy the story and wonder how it will resolve.

Any thoughts on your experiences good or bad?

All you can do is be honest. If you don't, you aren't actually having a relationship. You're reading a script about a relationship.

The longer you aren't honest, the less well it will go when you finally fess up.

I have not had much luck in that department. I get one or the other. The last person I was with tended to gossip too much. Hard to trust someone like that.
