I've been on and off this site for a number of years now, but never checked out the boards before.
Thought it was about time.
I've been involved with the lifestyle for many years and I'm always
Interested in learning new things and meeting new people.

Thank you for the nice welcome. Its nice to see friendly faces
I have some questions about areas I'm interested in
learning about and exploring and while the boards would be a perfect
place to seek answers, I'm afraid I'm going
to open myself to, pardon the expression, but all kinds of
wack jobs.
Not sure if I should just post them, do a profile search for people with
like interests and see if I can approach them with my questions / fears
or what to do.
Any suggestions?

You might read the guidelines and FAQs on each forum. That will give you an idea of what is appropriate to ask in each one. You also might use the search feature for specific topics to see if they have been covered before. If it's been awhile since your topic was covered then feel free to post a new one. (Do not respond in a thread that is more than 3 months old. Better to start a new thread and link back to the old one)
