MrRodgers -> Crazy enough yet for you ? (12/4/2013 5:15:25 AM)

I wonder how it is given the obvious criminality of the last admin., that these guys could come up with this ? Once Reagan and then W was left alone...everybody should be left alone.

Here

I can't think of a single president that someone didn't want to impeach. Why should this one be any different?

Exactly. The article itself mentions that the Pubs know this is a fail from the very beginning. But I'm sure it won't stop some people from losing their minds.

We can expect naught but failure from the right.  It is their modus operandi.

IMO, that's exactly what zealotry gets you in this country...left or right...and appropriately so.

joether -> RE: Crazy enough yet for you ? (12/4/2013 12:34:13 PM)

Who do you impeach:

A ) A Democrat whom lies to Congress about having sexual relationships with an intern.

B ) A Republican who lies to Congress about dragging the entire nation into a war. Dropping $4 Trillion of borrowed money without a second thought, 4,000+ US Soldiers KILLED, 32,500+ US Soldiers with long term wounds, and placing 100K-600K civilians 'to the sword' (depending on which report you want to believe).

According to 'GOP Thought', 'A' is who needs to be impeached while giving 'B' a blank check to simply do more. The Republicans basically lost all credibility when it comes to impeachment. They couldn't hold their own party to the same level (if not twice) of accountability and responsibility with power as they blasted the Democrat. Even though the Republican did far worst than the Democrat.

The 'impeaching' of President Obama is only for cheap political points by Republicans towards those that voted them into office (i.e. the Low Information Voter). Since those Republicans have....NOTHING....to offer the nation in any substantial manner or means.

So it's not about lying to Congress but the severity of the lie to you. Makes me actually wonder what standard you apply to Democrats in high office.

If a Democrat did what former President George W. Bush did, I would have all for impeaching the guy!

...as if we can't figure that out from all the other spastic rants.

FelineRanger -> RE: Crazy enough yet for you ? (12/4/2013 1:54:15 PM)

How about we fire all 536 (President and both houses of Congress) of the lying, sneaky bastards and start all over again with people who are not professional politicians?

mussorgsky -> RE: Crazy enough yet for you ? (12/4/2013 2:01:23 PM)

I find it fascinating that some of you still think there's a difference between the two parties. Tell me again how it's all the fault of one side and the other is blameless and the solution.

Or we could agree that both parties suck, both have done fundamental damage to this country, and that both will keep doing damage so long as we keep "electing" them.

Great. You had to go and ruin it with the truth. Now what will I do for entertainment?

Pretty much what I have come to expect from the left also. Well that and lots of whining and lying.

You are correct but the repubs are just much better at it.

Almost as good as the Dems are.

The law is the law except when President Snow says it isn't.

Moonhead -> RE: Crazy enough yet for you ? (12/11/2013 4:38:32 AM)

The chimp shouldn't have been in power to be impeached in the first place. Another example of a neocon double standard is how all of the blather about the Kenyan being an "usurper" has tended to come from people who didn't have a problem with the illegally stopped recount in Florida. It's a shame Gore didn't have the balls to do anything about that one.

They will become professional pols as soon as they announce for office and are feted by special interests with deep pockets.

cloudboy -> RE: Crazy enough yet for you ? (12/11/2013 9:57:24 AM)

Was playing bridge today online with a guy named BarackoVomit, and he was going on and on in the chat window about how only people on welfare could be happy with Obama and that the only remedy to fix the country was to impeach Barack Obama, "who had committed many impeachable offenses."

So that experience has been followed up by this thread....

I have long maintained that the greatest enemy for Republicans is Democrats -- the internal cancer of the USA.
