Nigella Lawson has said she felt geisha like. She has described a submissive personality. Saatchi appears controlling. It sounds a very D/s based relationship to me even if they did not have the terminology to describe it as such.
She is also not claiming on him financially in the split.

All gone wrong now though so I suppose pretty irrelevant.

Looks more like an abusive relationship to me. Especially since the guy was trying to choke her in public. To me, part of kink is self-control.

Just plain domestic abuse, especially with his history of verbal and emotional abuse with his previous wife. Nothing d/s here.
