Large cotton balls soaked in ice water, squeezed a bit, and left in the freezer for a few minutes before being placed on the closed eyes can help do the trick.

I heard Hulk Hogans wife on their T.V. show wanting to put cold beer cans over her eyes. Not sure if it works but if the Hollywood people do it, it must work.

Frozen used tea bags work too. Basicly anything cold will help reduce the puffiness.

One thing I find works wonders for my allergie racoon eyes is regular applications of an old standby   Noxema ( most store brands work as well) I would think it would help about any issues

I have no idea if they will work for puffy eyes, but when combined with some sorta lumpy green goop smeared all over your face they will successfully transform you into a comedic ageing Hollywood diva [:D]

I still tend to use natural preparations (often made by me) in preference to the synthetic preparations made in some factory.. At least I know the quatity of what nature provides.. Willow bark for light to medium pain etc....
