sweetgirlserves -> A Great Christmas Present Idea... for your community (12/7/2013 5:42:38 PM)

Greetings,

Just found what I am buying myself for Christmas... and maybe one for a few friends here and there as well.

Worth the watch... ESPECIALLY, if you think you already got this covered....

FR...this is another major reason why mods should be involved in the Gor area.

This should be removed and sent to another place on the site.

Greetings to the Free,
Greetings slaves,

I did some further introspection of my thought process after my post. And you know, personally, I would never get a gun, its just not who I am. At least, not for now. I would get myself a nice attack dog though, because we have had robberies in the neighborhood off and on, at times, and so I feel safer at night with a German Shepherd at my feet. I think it would be wise if my Master had a gun to protect Himself and His Property, if someone should try to cause either harm. He may have one, which he is certainly entitled to, in my opinion, at least in the state that the world is in today. Because in today's world, we are not living under a master consciousness. We live under a slave consciousness driven by our emotions. But within every single person in the whole wide world, is the ability to step up and become better and stronger than we are today. In a positive way, for the good of mankind and for us all. How do we know what that world looks like? How do we know who's vision is correct for the good of all mankind? It seems like such a big question, doesn't it? It certainly used to seem so to me as well. But now the answer is simple. It is when we all win. That's it. When we all experience great happiness and we all smile and enjoy peace. Whatever makes that happen.... that's it. When I ask you sincerely, are you happy? And you answer me sincerely, Yes I am. And likewise. When we all want everyone to enjoy their lives and be creative in positive ways for the good of all of us together, and for our children, and our children's children.

We should really, truly care about each other, but it seems that we are not good at doing that, at least not very sincerely. So I have a suggestion a wise teacher told me about. There is a tribe in Africa that always greets each other with the same greeting... and it isn't hi, or hello, or even how are you. You may have heard of it before... it is simply, "And how are the children"..... and in that culture, there is only one acceptable answer.... "The Children Are Fine". Let's start looking into the eyes of each other's children. Let's use social media network to do that.... Hey, how are your kids over there in ______? Oh, they are ? And, by the way, how are Yours. I really think we should start realizing what this world was meant to be in God's eyes.... a Playground. That's right... a playground of endless creation for us to enjoy and explore ourselves and each other... why? Because we are all manifestations of Him, in the end, after all right. In the beginning, God created each one of us... Yep.

So how did we get here, where we are today, where we really and truly can't see the forest through the trees? Another seemingly big question with what I believe is another simple solution.... miscommunication. That's it. We have been miscommunicating with each other since, what, preschool? And our generation has had to deal with such giant leaps in communications, unlike the likes of any other time in the history of all of mankind. Really. Come on folks, maybe we should stop being so hard on ourselves? Here's what I know.... from my own personal experience, and I believe everyone who has done some deep soul-searching will share the same result... under the hate, and rage... under the desire for power and control, under the sarcasm, bitter tones and passive-aggressive comments, under the worst decisions ever made, and maybe even under some of the best.... is FEAR. Everyone is afraid. I really do believe that most of our energy is 'off' simply because our lives our way too fast, and communication was already a major problem when it was a whole lot slower.... Think about it. If I had a 'tiff' with my grandma, or my best friend, or my aunt, or my cousin, or pretty much anyone I knew existed in the world.... I could go over to their house and talk with them face-to-face. It may not be pleasant, but eventually, it got worked out. We could at least see each other's facial expressions and body language. We could sense each other's hearts and motivations more easily in person then we ever could over the telegraph maybe, or the phone.

And even now, with increasingly sophisticated email and social websites, we simply can't communicate as well across such a broad geographic network as we should be able to. But what does that mean? Should we stop trying? Absolutely Not. We are finally on the yellow brick road folk! We just have to figure out how to follow it a little better than we do today. I think if we at least stop and take the time to notice the problem, that will be a Great First Start. Try a little game with a friend. Try to 'Observe' yourselves in conversation. My Master and I did this together the other day and it was extremely eye opening. If we had a bad interaction, we stopped and first, had to reassure each other that we both had good intentions towards each other, because perception of the other person's intent seems to be the first thing to go... and then it can go downhill really quickly after that.

For example, in my email above, when I looked back I was realizing how many different ways that single email could be perceived by different people. My intention with it was this, and here is where I am today. Right now, folks, we need to realize that even the biggest, scariest, "Wizard of Oz" out there right now, is really just a scared little boy or girl underneath it all. The rest is smoke and mirrors. Have you ever watched the show Hoarders? It is an interesting pursuit to discover what drives a person to feel the need to surround themselves with material things to the point where they are literally incapacitated to give any of it up, and in fact, still want more. They can't even move in there house, and it makes them feel sick to think of throwing one piece of junk away, or even to give something to someone else. Who is the stronger person, the homeless man with nothing but his sense of self worth. Jesus had nothing, you know. Just sayin'.

If it turns into another pro/con gun debate, then it should move to P & R.
