I'm mostly administrative (and sometimes, I do IT work, and sometimes I manage projects...it's a hundred hats, really). I've worked every tier in my company short of having an executive position. The thing is, though, I've encouraged and trained (if you will) my American coworkers to say goodbye at the end of the call. The calls I'm referring to are when I called for a cab, ordered food, even called down to the front desk... I know from experience that not saying goodbye is prevalent in Florida, I wonder if the same holds for New York...?
