Status: offline 		Nice to hear, but the question becomes, who the fuck is Jar-Jar Binks? Other than some creature developed by Lucas while he was in some drug induced mind altered state (which is the condition he had to be in when he came up with the script ideas for episodes 1-3?)

Those Jedi, if they had wanted, could probably have plucked Jar Jar off that boat. They got all them weird powers and such. And so it goes.

For that short distance he could have just lifted Jar-Jar clear of the transport and brought him ashore.

Not much of a Jedi was he.
