So the brat has been wanting a tegu (giant lizard thing..very sweet though).
However, after research she was starting to see all the
responsibilities that comes with it. So hubby took her to look at the kitty
cats. She ended up adopting one!!
So we are apart of the cat world now!

OMG YES! A laser pen will drive your cat PSYCHO! Mine loves hers and I'm always having to get new batteries for it. It's funny, if she can't find the dot, she'll look up at the pen to make sure it's ON. She's very intelligent and knows to connect the pen with that damn elusive spot that keeps running away!
Extra fun: going from carpeted room to tiled floor at high speed and then suddenly reversing...sideways skiiiiiiiiiid scramble scratch-scratch-scratch-RUN! LMAO.
It's also fun to run the dot up the leg of someone sleeping on the sofa. Heh heh.

Ok, so I let My Sadistic side show with My pets....so what? My cat is a verified masochist anyhow.

My cat was fascinated by brown paper bags. And boxes. Don't ask me why, he just was. And they're cheap, too.

It's starting to look like a zoo here.. We have coco, Scotty ( yorkie) and pinky (pit ).
Then we have Thor ( her snake, she's about to hie him away though) and now this cat...who I just adore!

Just remember, they start calming down (usually) at around 5 years old. Enjoy the laughs he will give you, and breathe through all the broken stuff lol.

Indeed.

And sweet or naughty?

My computer in any case is naughty and has been for months now. For some of the avatars on this side I read instead "400 Bad Request". Even worse is the collarme side, which in its entirety gives the same message on an otherwise white screen. Due to which I cannot access personal messages that anyone might have sent me; I got one such today.

Maybe I ought to swap my computer for a cat?

Just out of interest, we are seriously thinking of adopting a young pit but like you, we also have a tiny dog. How do they get along K?

They're best friends! Pits are nanny dogs so they will look after smaller dogs. However, if you're adopting (which is awesome) make sure they can be around other dogs.

House cats are aliens and bent on world domination.

That being said, there is a baby toy that is a ball that moves on its own, it drives dogs nuts (my nephew has one) so it should drive a cat insane. It is a baby einstein roll and explore symphony ball.
