No, the best one I've heard was of an Airman who'd just come out of Basic and his sergeant sent him to look for 'five thousand feet of flight line". This happened to occur near where several Army units were training, and one happened to be a combat engineer unit that just happened to have roughly five thousand feet of Marsden matting, which to the uninformed, is interlocking steel plates with lightening holes that can be bolted to form roads and runways. The airman had been bounced around and ended up at the Army bivouac, where a junior officer clued in the CO about what the kid was looking for. The CO, looking to bust Air Force balls (because that's what the Army does, when it's not fucking with the Navy), decides to play his own little joke. He tells his junior to go load up all the Marsden and drive it over to the airbase with the private. Again, a barracks tale, probably total bullshit, but there ya go. Weren't we talking about private shooting ranges or something?
