Hey I am brand new gurl as of January! its my new years resolution to come out of my shell.

Tell me, do the hormones make it easier to lose weight? If anything I assumed they would make it harder, but I freely admit that I know next to nothing about transition.

No I haven't started hormones yet, but I do intend to start next year. ideally I'd like to of sown the seeds of some sort of relationship by then with a guy. You are right taking hormones will make it harder as body fat actually increases. my thinking is though because I used to be really skinny to have any chance of growing actual breasts I'd have to up the body fat percentage before hand. I know moobs are just fat, but boobs are breast tissue as well, I thought the extra bodyfat would help me achieve a feminine figure quicker than had I just been a skinny guy still as the fat slowly redistributes, I'm given to understand guys undergoing hormone therapy lose muscle mass, so im hoping that I can lose the muscle and try to keep the bodyfat levels as they are more or less initially, then over time as im more passable, go on a proper diet so that I look better in clothes. (if this makes any sense at all! lol). i'll make a point of coming on here and talking to everyone over the Christmas period. im going out with the lads tonight (who know nothing about any of this!). so cant really talk right now, just wanted to introduce myself and get the ball rolling.
