From September, it is a must see. A year in the making, the 13 person suspension was done as an exhibition event at a tattoo expo in Johannesburg. A world record pierced suspension of 13 people for 45 minutes at 25 meters. It is the most people ever suspended from a single point. Talk about rigging! 12 of them were in suicide suspension with a multiple point seated suspension as the center piece.

Everyone looked so charged from it. Their faces were as beautiful as the chandelier . . . priceless.

I have always wanted to do a partial suspension using hundreds of small hooks to hold someone standing in an upright in a pose. Like the scene from Strangeland . . . I have never been able to get that out of my head and I think it just made my list of things to do for 2014.

Strangely enough, I have been asked a couple of times by different girls to hang them from hooks by their tits. I have never done any hook suspension yet. It is amazing to see in person. We have a local heavy metal band in Tampa called Genitortures and they do some hook suspensions on stage, fly them out over the audience. It's pretty wild . . . hell, their hole act is BDSM, latex nuns, whips, crosses, fireplay . . . all while grinding out some metal music.

ty for sharing.

About 6 years ago Fakir Musafar came to the UK to do a group of 25 semi suspensions. I was one of those 25 and I was part of a world record!!

Fakir put two hooks through my upper chest (btw aren't these new hooks awesome?) and a spear through my facial cheeks. Ropes were tied to the hooks, through a hoop on a pillar and then attached to another person. Eventually we were all attached. It was an amazing day but would of been better if only Fakirs wife didn't walk around wafting burning sage leaves

. We needed it to be our moment and once we were semi suspended we really didn't need her input!!

A year later I did a full suspension with hooks through my upper back. The person who suspended me is a real expert when it comes to this. He has done some needle suspensions (something I would also love to do).

As your skin is initially stretched on the hook, it feels like its going to tear. Its painful, at least it was for me. The moment I was lifted I wanted to shout out 'get me down' Edgar had told me, count to 7 slowly and then the pain will leave. Counting to 7 is the hardest thing I've ever done and I honestly didn't think I would make it but oh boy, when the pain goes you are on the best cicadelic trip ever! The out of body experience is insane. I was cycling on a unicycle up on the high wires and these giant effervescent bubbles were floating all around me. Apparently I was singing!! I'm not going to share everything about what happened as it would take too long but I would do it all again tomorrow, if I got the opportunity.

I had already suspended two people. One in a performance at a club and one at a private party. Both times I was backed up by a great team who all knew their stuff. It was only after suspending my first guy that I really wanted to do this myself. Its hard to explain but I'll try. When I suspended my first man it was made to look like a very sadistic performance. Behind the scenes it was finely tuned down to every last detail but when we walked out into the baying crowd, he was on his knees and dragged by me across the club. He had 'sick pup' written on his skin in blood. He was then hooded, the hooks put through his shoulders and lifted 4ft off the ground. What I wasn't expecting was this incredible emotional surge that just hit me with such a 'wack' it nearly bowled me over! I felt as though I was inside his body, sharing his heartbeat and being at one with him. It was incredible... quite beautiful.

I could never do it, I hate heights and needles, I would absolutely panic.

But I do think its really beautiful and fascinating, and soooooo much respect and awe to those that can handle this. Thanks for sharing the link.

A few years ago I got invited to a party, knowing I was going to be showing a Domme how to flesh hook and suspend her sub. What I didn't know was, he had put on loads of weight and his skin was so tight, no way could we pinch the skin to get those hooks in. What we ended up doing is piercing him behind the nipple and semi suspending him.

Getting a cannula through was really tough because the guy had so much scar tissue. His screams were delightful though

i don't know why but i am crying after that... it was beautifully intense.
Thank You for posting that.
though i have heard of hook suspension the only time i had seen it up until now was in an old movie i don't remember the actors name right now but as part of a Native American ritual he was suspended by two hooks through his chest. Now i am sure that it was Hollywood special effects but it was an intense scene in the movie and oddly made such an impression that i remember it to this day.

uumm...no, never done it and don't think I'd ever be able to get through it. I don't like pain and I'm afraid of heights. I'd most likely get sick and vomit before it even started happening.

But I do think it can be pretty and serene for those who are able to do this.

When Fakir went to put the hooks through me I was really nervous, even though we had all been meditating prior to it happening (I don't think my meditation techniques are all that!!)

Fakir said, 'If you don't fear pain you won't feel it'. His assistant, Grace I think her name was, said 'give me a big smile'. Getting into your head that pain is only present if you fear it and laughing or smiling does takes pain away. I now understand how some people can have operations whilst awake and I have used these words of wisdom whilst applying piercings and needle play to people.

Cheek spears are pretty awesome! Fakir has them specially made and won't or at least wouldn't sell them. A few of us however, did manage to coerce one of his collogues into sending us a few!

Very, very tricky to get in (big risk of a stick to the fingers). They don't hurt when being inserted but when you take them out it feels like you have been kicked in the face with a hob nailed boot.
