I have been on this site for about two years now ( which means I have had to learn the hard way that 90% of the profiles on here are fakes, wishful dreamers, spammers, or identity thieves). Still positive that I will continue to establish relationships with like-minded individuals and continue to learn from the wisdom of others.

In the spirit of the holidays is wish everyone a merry Christmas, Ḥănukkāh, New Year and whatever other holiday you celebrate in your country or religious beliefs recognize (hopefully I won't be banned or incarcerated for offending someone by the liberal Obama regime running our country).

Hello and welcome Doc, nice to have you join us. Yes its true there are many that are not what we are looking for over on the profile side.

Not sure we can label them as fakes and such maybe just people who are not what we seek. My cup of tea may not be the same as yours. [:D]

A good place to get some positive feed back is from the Positive Experiences thread.

If you like debates Politics and Religion thread maybe more what you might like.

But if you are looking for some just all around fun thread to get a feel for this side try Humor and Games.

No matter what your cup of tea is ....there is usually something going on, on this side that may hold your interest.

Welcome to the forums from a fellow Montanan. Well, I live there from late April until November. I find winters just a touch on the chilly side there. Unlike many who write about it on the forums, I seldom see a profile that is fake or spam. There are a lot of dreamers here but then dreaming can be a good thing.

Funny, I always thought Montana was the Big Sky State, not the Treasure State.

I happen to be one of the majority of the country that voted for Obama (Yeah, I have regrets, but still...), but welcome to CM anyway!

The official nick name is The Treasure State. Big Sky State started as a Dept. of Highways promotion in the 1960s.

Welcome! you will find! over here! we are all real...just not as fun sounding as the ones on the other side!! You have several like-minded members in the political realm...Check out Politics and Religion but fair warning they get a little riled up down there!!
