LadyPact -> RE: Renaming Ask a Master and Ask a Mistress (12/23/2013 1:42:57 PM)

I went with yes and let Me explain. I've never seen the point of having the two sections separated in the first place. The majority of the questions that are asked that are dynamic/relationship based that are directed toward the person in power angle, the gender of the person in power really doesn't matter much. If we're talking about renaming just for the sake of renaming, I have to say that I don't see much of a point. Little more than a 'feel good' fix that has a hope of being more appealing. If we really feel that putting lipstick on a pig is how to go about it, please pick out a nice shade of red. quote:
ORIGINAL: Focus50 And "Ask a Mistress" gives the male subs somewhere to spam the boards with their do-me fantasies. Not in my backyard, thanks.... ;) Ok, begs the reasonable question as to why no gender specific submissive forum. Works fine as is for me but then I'm not submissive hard-wired to have given it any real thought. "Ask a Male Dominant" and "Ask a Female Dominant" would be more user friendly (or less intimidating) to newbies, IMO. And alphabetically, the gals move above us on the main board, in case that's important to some. Focus. Focus, I'm going to give you credit. The NIMBY bit was exceptionally honest and I don't know how many male Dominants would come straight out and say it. The Ask A Master board, in My opinion, doesn't get nearly the amount of trolling type trash that the Ask A Mistress board does. Of course, since all of these discussion/topic types are only being focused on retaining new posters, I'm not sure if that's going to come into play.
