I am trying to find a Master who will help me and teach me everything about this lifestyle but I haven't had much luck. Can anyone help me?

You're in CA, they have numerous groups there. Check out your local munch and make friends that can help you learn.

I strongly suggest you remove the "I'm new" in your profile, it tends to attract the predators.

Stick around here on the discussion side. There's lots to learn just by lurking. If you have specific questions, please feel free to begin your own thread.

From my own experience, no one person has taught me everything I know. Each person Ive been with has been someone Ive both taught and learned from. It's all part of what makes me the aged kink self that I am today.

If you are new, this is a great time to figure out what makes you tick. It makes it a lot easier to find a compatible person. You might get introduced to one you think might be The One, but ultimately they turn out to be a complete and total idiot. Take time to explore and experience who you are. Then go find your One [:)]. I hope my odd and incoherent rambling on far too little coffee yet makes some sense.

First off, I would recommend that you get a mentor rather than a Master.

Second, the Los Angeles area has a huge community. Get out to Threshold for demos or the Lair has Insight events. There are a zillion discussion groups, lectures, demos and socials.

And attend a social and find yourself a female submissive to be your mentor and help guide you, until you have your feet under yourself enough to figure out what you're looking for.

OP - as a brand spanking (pun intended) new submissive, you are going to be bombarded with men wanting you - and if you have someone to help you through all this, it would probably go easier for you. The thing to remember is that what you are looking for is a relationship, and you get to dictate as many terms within the context of your relationship as he does.

One thing to remember is , is that if it isn't ok in a vanilla relationship, then it isn't ok in a bdsm relationship. If you ask yourself if your sister should accept "x" behavior, and if the answer is no, then you shouldn't either...

If you go to fetlife, they have a comprehensive listing of munches and educational seminars. That would probably be a good place to start.

. . . and if you have specific areas of interest, read up on the topic (book link in my sig). That way, when you do meet someone, you will understand the vernacular and be able o express yourself better.
