Another thread sparked this question for me..

Why would a Male Dom make several female profiles seeking another Dom?

I can not ask him as he passed away before I discovered this, actually it was by accident that I discover the three he has made up.

He had used three of his ex subs pictures and made a profile for each and he befriend one women with all three profiles.

This has been the one thing that I have not been able to put to rest since finding out, as he had them during the 6 1/2 years that we where together.

They where all active up till the day I ended up taking his computer from him.

Thanks for any answers... as this has me confused.

By the way all three profiles are now gone and none of the women where ever even on CM, they had no clue.

Needless to say they are most happy they are gone.

1. He was a bi-sexual switch who couldn't admit it.
2. He liked having a bit of fun online, stringing people along.
3. He liked cybersex and found it easier to get that way.

to get anything approaching a useful answer, you'd have to go into all sorts of details that are nobody's damn business. the behavior is in line with any number of very different personality disorders.

I would have to think it was most likely two of the three....knowing him as well as I did....lol or thought I did.

Thanks littlewonder....I am not sure why I did not think of these things myself. It just left me so confused.

One thing I'm not clear on. If you didn't find out about his alternate profiles until after his death, why did you take his computer?

I know all about trying to figure out secrets that were found out after someone dies.. The hardest thing about them is you will never know the true answer-he is not here to explain & everyone else will most likely be making guesses or giving opinions colored by their own experiences.. Sometimes we just have to let something go, accept that no person is perfect & that everyone has at least of few things in their closet that they never acknowledge while alive.

He became very ill the last six months of his life, I was his power or attorney and all his banking was done on line along with other things.
I had took his computer because he could no longer use it to do what needed to be done. I rather not go into more detail about the hows and whys.
I just wanted to know if anyone could maybe give me some kind of in sight to what he may have been thinking.
I have to say the answers thus far ...make a lot of sense to me and have helped.

Thanks to those of you that have offered up your thoughts....they have been helpful.

I'd just like to say that it doesn't mean that what you and he shared was a lie. It means that there was a piece of himself that he didn't share, but he kept it in cyberspace. He gave the rest of himself to you.

Thank you wind and I found out after his passing that he did have multiple women whom have become very good and personal friends of mine.....once we worked through the heart.

I can't really answer this without knowing more about him. I have a few guesses though:

1) Trolling.
2) Trying to get wank fodder.
3) Hiding part of him from you.
4) Lying to himself about part of himself.
5) Putting things in the spank bank,

Two of those are the same thing because I think it's the most likely.

I've got a guess, though I'm not terribly sure that it's one that would make you happy.

Was this something that he did after he became sick or received his diagnosis? If so, it may not have anything to do with you. It may have been his way of dealing with the fact that he knew he was going to get worse or might have been some kind of escape. Taking on female profiles would allow him to make 'friends' easier and would disconnect him from the illness he was facing. There have been times that I've noticed over the years that *some* folks that make multiple profiles are having trouble facing their reality. They are looking at something that they can't deal with and if they are (pretending to be) somebody else, then they can remove themselves from it, at least for a little while.

When people do that, I agree with Red. It doesn't mean the people in their real lives aren't important. They just really aren't looking at everything as a whole. They don't do it because of the happy part. Just the parts they can't handle. I'd think a terminal illness could fit that. He may have even seen it as a way of protecting you because he was afraid.

That's the best I've got.

I had a male sub set up a fake female Domme profile and use her as a "reference." Maybe it was something like that?
