Hi there,

My relationship appears vanilla to everyone else. His whole family thinks he's a "control freak" (but not kinky.)

When he found me, I had something similar in my OKCupid profile - that I was looking for a relationship, that I wanted a man who was assertive in the bedroom but willing to negotiate outside. Despite his family's label of control freak, he's actually quite easy going about most things.

Regarding poly - yes, you will get tons of mail from men interested in poly. That doesn't mean it's the norm for BDSM relationships, just that there are lots of men looking for that elusive unicorn. Since you want monogamy, hold out for what you want.
