To the op; it's not about who is real to your face, it's about who stays real behind your back. Sorry, I don't know who first wrote that!

I have been duped by a few people: The babysitter that went through all my stuff, took my jewellery, money and even some baby clothes.

The scene friend who stayed the night but couldn't resist the stash of money my ex had left in the kitchen.

One of my best friends (now ex best friend) who was going behind his fiancées back and unbeknown to me, using my name as a cover.

We can go around being suspicious of everyone or we can trust until we are given reason not to. I choose the second. I would hate to lose my trust in people.

If I dwelt on the people that screwed me over, and I dont mean monetarily, that is just material stuff and you cant take that with you, but betraying my trust, loyalty, etc. I would be working on a hit list at least 10 pages long.

Personally, I have come to the opinion that these people have to deal with karma. The only person that I even think about is my last wife, since I cant find her and this means my divorce proceedings may get complicated.

That's why I'm seeing someone else." She then walked away.

I started calling my friends, family and business associates and I was shocked that most of them never received the gift package!

I'm very fond of Christianity.

Christians, not so much (and I am one).

Best thing you can do when someone tells you "you can trust me, I'm a Christian" is, immediately put your hand over your wallet and then, as they leave the room, count your fingers. (Make sure they're all still there).
