^^^ Have a good time, Greta!

MariaB -> RE: Electro Toys (12/29/2013 10:22:13 PM)

none of these links shown are medical grade because medical grade equipment that gets contaminated with bodily fluids have to live up to an medical grade autoclave. None of the tools shown can possibly do that. Anything with plastic on it or 2 components that won't come apart, are not medical grade.

kalikshama -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 5:27:07 AM)

If they are just being used by one person, why do they need to be medical grade? I certainly don't sterilize my erosilator attachments in between uses.

http://www.win-health.com/vaginal-probes-nickel-free-periprobe.html

Perisize4 vaginal probe is reusable and intended for a single user only. It cannot be sterilised, but should be washed with mild soap and water after each treatment session.

MariaB -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 5:57:52 AM)

They don't need to be medical grade when used on one person Kalikshama but someone said that the links were medical grade when they aren't.

MercTech -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 10:21:09 AM)

Medical Grade ==> overpriced but durable for use on multiple people per day

A $39 personal model works fine and uses common batteries so you aren't tied to an electrical socket.

I can personally affirm they are great for muscle cramps and pulled muscles.

As for playtime, I keep threatening to get one to be music activated like an Ohmibod.

Maria is absolutely right. I used the wrong term. What I meant was 'medical-purpose', meaning the devices are being marketed and sold through WinHealth to treat medical conditions. Re-purpose them for sex-toy shops and the price multiplies astronomically.

As Maria no doubt knows from her time aboard her sailboat, kind of like putting 'marine' in front of a common mop for scrubbing decks and moving the decimal one place to the right. [8D]

Absolutely agree

That is why the company rep that were selling this product (now E-stim) to the medical profession started approaching people like me. They saw the £ signs in the BDSM market and needed an avenue in. They did however, have to start making new devices such as butt plugs and electro dildos as this is something the medical profession didn't require!

Its very easy to make medical sounds into electro sounds and a medical speculum into electro speculum. They cost a lot less than E-Stims and you can sterilize them after use.

I have ordered the Perisize4 and look forward to the 30 minutes per day of therapy that was recommended on another page on the site [8D]

Let's talk electro nipple clamps now. My man does not want to do anything risky with electricity. How safe does the procedure below sound?

[image]http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0178/9815/products/ear_white_thin_separate_thb_medium.jpg[/image]

I asked the rep to expand on this:

http://www.currentpleasures.com/collections/clamps/products/clamps-white-ear-separate

One set of two clamps works on one circuit/channel, each clamp is unipolar, so use with caution above the waist! It is best to split the channel, pair each clamp with a nearby electrode pad and not send current across the chest.

Q: Can you explain this a little better for me; what exactly do I do with my wires?

A: Plug the pin into the jack on the clamp. The clamps can be used anywhere. Some people frown on one on each nipple since the current goes between them and potentially above the heart, though I’ve personally never heard of any problems unless someone has a pacemaker. To be absolutely safe, put one clamp on the nipple and use the other pin on the leadwire to attach an electrode pad on the breast somewhere. Our moon pads are perfect for this.

To do both nipples at the same time this way you would need to use both channels of your machine, or use one of our channel splitter wires: http://www.currentpleasures.com/collections/wires/products/wires-pin-j-to-2-pin-ps-y to be able to have them both at the same power level much much easier.

Not safe enough for my liking. Any current crossing the heart is a bad idea, and I would extend that to any current NEAR the heart, whether the channels are separate or not (especially if they're not). There is a lot of controversy about estim used on nipples; the discussions on smartstim about it are endless. My personal hard limit for myself and my partners is no way in hell. I'd be OK with administering the surface stim from a violet wand, but that's it.

Yes. For those wondering how, just slap a sticky pad (electrode) on the sound and/or speculum with the corresponding pad on another inserted instrument or pad on the skin.

Congratulations! I hope it's OK to make a suggestion: easy does it 'til you literally get dialed in. Keep the volumes low at first; because it feels so effortless, it is easy to overdo until your aching girly bits remind you a day or two later what you've done to them. [8D]

Kalik, I think you're in the US. If so, may I ask what Win charged for shipping? It used to be very reasonable. The reason I ask is if it's gone up a lot, I will wait until the H is available and order it together with the U.

kalikshama -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 2:55:05 PM)

9 British Pound Sterling or $14.87, which is about what my company charges to ship to the UK, so I was ok with that.

I will certainly start low; thanks for the tip :)

MistressDarkArt -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 3:05:54 PM)

Ty :-)

If you have any questions as you go along, feel free to PM me on the other side. And keep your favorite vibrator handy. It helps to get you where you'd like to go with estim. At some point, you may get so proficient in estim alone you'll be able to experience the holy grail: HFO (hands-free orgasm).

EventideFortuna -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 3:51:31 PM)

I have done the rounded pads on both breasts at once with little issue. Both of the round pads take both of the inputs so theres no current crossing. I would talk to a doctor first. mine says its fine as long as i dont do something stupid like chew on the wires or use an ac unit instead of battery.

MistressDarkArt -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 4:36:38 PM)

Eventide, would you be willing to post a picture of or link to the pads you use? Are they standard 2" round sticky pads (which take only one lead) or something else?

kalikshama -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 5:57:10 PM)

Greta, I think this poster meant to put her post on this thread instead of "Electrostimulas - Anyone Tried It?"

@Greta75- you're using the wrong TENS unit settings. Either your pattern is TENS and not EMS, your intensity is too high, or you have your surface-area pairings wrong. With the right settings and the right accessories, it's possible to achieve true hands-free orgasms. Smartstim is a good place for information, but if you want to actually buy quality products and get specific information on how best to use them with your particular device, check out www.currentpleasures.com and email their customer service.

I saw some here: http://www.currentpleasures.com/collections/for-her/breast

While I was back on that site, I bought the clamps (to use below the waist) and this http://www.currentpleasures.com/collections/for-her/products/accessories-vagina-silicone-small

BTW, there's a coupon code "COLLAR" for 10% off.

Looking forward to an electric 2014!

EventideFortuna -> RE: Electro Toys (12/30/2013 7:07:48 PM)
