I think it takes a while to close but you have to stay out of the account. Someone will come along soon that may be more helpful.

Simple... Click the My Account button from those listed on the left of your browser page. Near the very top on the right hand side, under your CM user name, click the Close account button. Now logout...... And don't login again for the next month or three. It doesn't happen instantly - you have to stay out of your account so it doesn't automatically re-activate. ETA: there's never anything online, especially in a chat room or forum that is ever an emergency.

And then never log in again. If you log in, you can reset the clock. Facebook is the same way, but it takes longer: two weeks. CM only takes one, as far as I know.

Hun when you get something in your e-mail that says you have mail...just DELETE it, as you have been told a few times now if you keep opening them and coming to your account it will keep re opening it. It was closed but you have re opened it once again. Okay go to the profile side - left side of the page 17 spaces down it says My Account -click the account button.... a new page will open - It will say My Account and then towards the right there is a button that says Close Account -Click the button that says close account - a new page will open - there are some letters in blue that have lines through them -type those letters in the box -then there is a button under that ....that say CLOSE ACCOUNT - click that and it will close your account out HERE IS THE IMPORTNAT PART KIDDO DO NOT .... I REPEAT DO NOT .......OPEN ANYTHING ELSE AGAIN FROM COLLARME If you do you will keep getting stuff. This post is not an intro so it will be moved. If you truly want nothing more to do with CM then also stop posting. People are willing to help but only for a bit. If you keep coming back asking the same things over and over again they will become annoyed and start posting things that set you off. If you truly can not get your account closed then ask support over on the other side for help. I truly wish you well and hope that you can get some help that will at least help you coop with every day life. hugssssssss

I still can't find the My Account button or the other controls you're talking about and I feel like if I don't get this account deleted I'm gonna have a heart attakc

You may have already deleted it. It is not visible and cmail is being bounced back. So, leave it alone and just stay away from CM. Edit to add: do whatever relaxation techniques you have learned to deal with your panic.

Sweet I think I have figured out what it is that you want I have sent a note to Chi and hopefully she can help. I think what you want is these two threads gone so you no longer get any mail.....not sure if Chi or Gamma can do that, but as I said I sent a note asking for you if they can do that. If these two threads stop ....then you should get no more mail and then you can move on and get some help. Also your most welcome Kiddo I hope this helps. huggssss

Your account IS deleted but normally you must stop logging into it for a week for it to go away. If there is an emergency, perhaps Support can help expedite the process.
