wittynamehere -> sketchy-looking profiles that can unblock themselves and reappear?! (12/31/2013 10:23:27 AM)

(Note: Since I posted this a few minutes ago, the member's link has been removed by the moderators. Sorry, I didn't know you can't say other members names here. Sadly, this post will now have a lot less meaning, and I won't be able to hear from others who have had the same issue with the profile in question. I suspect many people have seen it, blocked it, and seen it again. But now we probably won't be able to know either way. Since I can't name it, I'll describe it. 18, f, USA, young-looking mostly-naked photo, with a username that starts with "anal".) I first came across this account a few weeks ago while browsing the other side. I was surprised that the username hadn't been taken before, since almost every comprehensible useful name has already been claimed on this site. Anyway, the profile was much the same as the one you see in the link above. Hinting at being underaged, claiming to be an anal virgin, and wanting her "anus destroyed by brutal anal-only gangbangs". As I do with any profile I see that I don't want anything to do with, I blocked the profile, hid the profile, and moved on. Saw the same profile a few days ago. That should be impossible since once blocked or hidden, you should never see it again. It was the same text, but a different picture. Blocked, hid. But it happened again yesterday and I gave it the same result. And there it is again today, right at the top of all my searches and browses, "online now!". Almost identical text, new pic, but identical name. All my other blocks are intact (there are thousands of them at this point) and working properly. How is this "person" (or company, or agency) able to get around other members' block settings? At the very least, that's a privacy and security breach and could lead to major issues for members and for the site. At worst, it points toward cooperation with sting operations conducted by various law enforcement agencies, attempting to legally entrap members. While that's certainly within their legal right to do, if that's the case, I really think members need to be aware of it. Not to protect anyone who is legitimately trying to harm anyone else here - absolutely not! I do however have an issue with the overuse of fraud and entrapment, and the smelly stained blanket of mistrust it throws over the community, the majority of which is made of good people. Not a healthy environment for meeting others and beginning relationships, which is the site's stated purpose and goal. Hopefully that's not the case and it's just some simple hack or glitch that needs correcting. I hope not to see this blocked profile unblock itself and reappear a 4th time. Thanks, and Happy New Calendar!! WNH
