OctoberSnow -> New and looking for the right instructor(s) (1/3/2014 8:08:57 AM)

Good greetings unto you. My name is October Snow, and the pleasure is all mine.

I am new to the Dom/Sub world, and I am in need of guidance. This has been something I have been thinking about for a long while now, but I admit I am a little lost. I have thought about becoming a professional Dominant, and I have done some research. However I do not have any experience nor a person to turn to. I am hoping to find someone (or two) who can take me under their wing to release my inner Dominant. Despite being inexperienced and unsure of what I like, I am open to almost anything. I would like to try different things at least once to find out what I like and dislike in the my fetish endeavors.

I thought about taking classes to receive proper training. Sadly I make very little money and unable to cover the costs. I am hoping to barter my skills as a seamstress and artist in exchange for proper lessons (or almost whatever we will agree on). I can sew, just started crocheting and knitting, paint, draw, write, use photoshop/illustrator programs, and I am also very good at simply listening (you would be surprised how releasing it is to have someone listen to everything who doesn't make judgments or breathes a word of it to others. I have an inner policy of accepting almost anything, and no I am not a psychologist; just a friendly being.)

I hope to find the guidance I need if I so choose this path to become a professional Dominant. I want to be able to help others by releasing them from their frustrations, even if it means humiliating them or spanking their buttocks.

Thank you for finding me, and I hope to be friends. I thank you for your patience in advance as well. Until then, pleasant dreams.

-October Snow

Heya, read ask a mistress forum, FAQS first, and I didnt check where you were from, but you probably want to go to munch and events in your area, or you might find a Dominatrix near you here that can give you a leg up.

Hello and welcome, its nice to have you here with us.

Bascially you just copied and pasted your profile here which is against the guidelines here for intros......

As the description for this section states, this is a forum for the welcoming and introduction of Collarme.com forum subscribers. At this time, we would like to remind all new members to please familiarize themselves with our forum guidelines posted here. All members are welcome to join in the conversation here regardless of experience or interest. Please do not just repost your personal ad, or just give a list of your kinks, but tell us a little bit about yourself.

BUT since you added enough of an intro....you intro is not being turned in. Maybe take some time and read the FAQ and the TOS for this side, they can help you out quite a bit.

Ron gave you some great advice and you may want to check out fetlife, though I am not a member there, others that are have said that it can help you find munches in your area.

Hope you will take some time and lurk around on this side and find the help that you are seeking. :)

May the new year be a good one to you.

Hi Snow,
PA is a big state but if you are ear any major city, I am sure you could find someone to barter with especially if your sewing skills are really good. Check out Fetlife for groups and events near you...

Relax. Go to events, play some, and then start becoming a pro after people see your play abilities.

Hi OctoberSnow.

Welcome to CM, as Misty & the others have said, there's plenty of friendly chat & advice on the forums. Jump in & enjoy yourself!

I hope you find what you're looking for here.

Best wishes, Gary.

Welcome to the non-profile side OctoberSnow.

You can learn a *lot* right here in the message boards. Once you master the clunky search feature, you will be able to pull up threads on most any topic.

Being a pro domme is a hard job and yes you do need experience and knowledge in many areas of BDSM. Explore and experience your dominant side first before even trying to go pro. You are in PA....if you're close to a large city check out the BDSM scene there. it's the best way to learn many of the skills you need in terms of CBT, impact play, rope work and other bondage methods.

It's also the best way to find a pro to mentor you.

Since much of BDSM is mental, you need to learn how to get inside a sub's head. That, and much of the relationship stuff you can find here in the forum.

If you have specific questions, please feel free to start your own thread.
