Here, Valentine's Day is when women give men gifts. The following month (March 14) is White Day when the men give women gifts. I am betting there are a lot of breakups between 2/15 and 3/13...

Of course, 3/14 is a much more important day! It is PI DAY!

Well, to be accurate, the first reference is from about 1250 CE. In a book called the Parlement of Foules. It's the day the birds were supposed to choose their mates.

In honor of which, perhaps we should have roast duck this year?

Although I don't recommend reading it, Canterbury Tales is far superior.

all I want for Valentines Day is a nice cute guy to be my sweetie.. (and that ya cant get at any store...

)

but Valentines Day is over a month away.. I still got some time for him to find me!..
