I have, for reasons related to work, had to remove the face pictures from my profile for a while. I dislike this, as I can see why people who be distrustful of anyone who doesn't have a face picture. My question is, should I use this as an opportunity to post some slightly more personal shots? Is it a total turn-off for a man to have pictures of his body/cock on here? I'm aware it shouldn't be the main picture.

cock shots are lame and cheesy and a turnoff to most women. Personally I have always enjoyed just regular, normal pictures of someone doing everyday things. You don't need to show a face pic. It can be one of you doing something you enjoy...skydiving, hiking, riding, whatever with a fully clothed and normal body but without a closeup of your face.

That's pretty much what I thought. I normally wouldn't (except for a slight exhibitionist desire) but having been forced to remove the normal pictures, it made me wonder.

Yes, I think there's a difference between genders there, much as I'm loath to make such sweeping generalisations. I think I'm partly just wanting to say "there is a real person at the end of this profile." I'm also aware that there seems an emphasis on women showing naked pictures, and not nearly as much for men.

Au contraire as far as this site goes. About half of what appears when I log in to my profile are nudies.... Can't speak for FL or a sex site like AFF (which I'm not on). It's part of an exhibitionistic kink to just let it all hang out, knowing they'll be seen by other CM users, or a way to be sexually objectified.

Please don't post cock shots or nude pics of yourself, even if you think they're attractive. It sends a message that you're only interested in the physical. I like the eye pic idea from Kana. There are many other things you can do to show how you look without revealing yourself. Stroll through some of the forum member's profiles and you might find some.

I do think cock pics are poor taste especially as a primary photo HOWEVER- I like penis photos from time to time. But most of the penis and even ass pics I have seen on CM are horribly disgusting. Trifling. Distasteful without integrity. Just completely a turnoff. When I do see a penis pic (that is not their primary photo) I will compliment the person sometimes but not very often.

As one who does not have any face pics on My profile due to the nature of My work, I can relate. I also do NOT have cock shots. As a man I find that distasteful. Seeing your cock when I don't even know you does NOT make me want to get to know you. I don't see it and think, "Wow!!! That one's special!!! I want it for my own!!!"
