Status: offline 		I'm old school,I started on the bottom. My first "Lady" decided it would be fun to do a few weeks of self enforced chastity on me. I did my part, not touching myself at all. The first week was tough, but I was very determined. I sublimated the drive, and it went away. In fact it went away so well, that I went totally impotent. It was an interesting insight into conditioning, that I use now, as a Dom.

But here is the kicker- My link to lady was sexual-and when that went away-my desire for her did as well. She hadn't bothered to build anything stronger to make me stick around.

I left.

So I'll just say "Sure,give it a shot, see what happens."

There are 2 major differences that I have seen for using a chasity belt:

1)  To prevent another from any self pleasure

2)  As a mind game to remind the person that part of the body is under control.

To me, the second works well because the 'reminder' builds the struggle more.  The first tho is of less interest to me.  I would want a sub to have the strength to do without themselves ..  this is what they gave to me.

Altho a CB is a far more 'physical' denial  ...  its presence is a powerful reminder of what has been given.

I was looking at one of these chasity devices for pup when we went to the Atlanta flea, and was told by the guy who was trying to sell it to me that there are long term effects, including impotency. I heard that, and it was all I needed to hear. Although the woman with him told me that because of pups age, it was not a good idea anyway. He was 18 at the time and has an erection every morning <shrugs> wearing the device could cause physical damage to him. We do not live together, so his morning erection is not something that *I* could benefit from every morning. I would look into it more if you are worried about the long term effects. Those effects may come back to haunt you <s>

I've had a quick search and i cant find any definative research or published papers on this. However from a psychological aspect. I'd warrent that depending on the person, excessive uses of chastity devices may cause long term problems of varying seriousness  physically and/or psychologically/emotionally.  As I have time I'll try to research this further.

Only if used longterm. You have to determine if the reasons for use of a device is for Control and training, of the act its self or, Dominance based in showing who has control over the act, or is the desire to remove the arousal act so that pure service can be acheved without the thoughts of the wrong head leading the actions? Any type of natural drive altering device carries abilities to alter natural drive. I prefer to peirce the head of a cock and put a lock thru it and hook a leash to it for control, course I only deal with Dominance and Control within hands lenth of My self.

Status: offline 		From experience i can say that there is no long term effect on myself. i have used a cb2000 for almost 3 years wearing it 24/7, i do this for two reasons, 1 to remind me me of my status in life, and the other is just to prevent unwanted erections. when the device is removed i have never experienced a problem with an erection.

i might add that i am an older sub/slave age 60
