I'm kinda pissed. Why did they have to resort to THAT storyline??

It is a real life thing that probably happened even more then than it does now. It is sad, but there's no reason for the writers to ignore it.

Interesting irony: If Carson had had his snobby way and excluded the kitchen staff from the concert, they may have been around to hear and help Anna.

Well thank you very much. I was supposed to devote the entire day getting caught up with schoolwork and was planning on watching this later in the week. I might have been ok with the other comments but you just had to mention Anna. Now I have to find some time today to see what has happened that has everyone so upset.

...The opera scene made me miss my daughter. "O, Mia Bambino Caro" was her audition piece when she was choosing a conservatory..........

I had to watch the credits on-line a couple of times to find out the singer was Kiri Tekanewa. I don't know much about opera.

How cool your daughter is a singer!!

It's a shame he got murdered. Nasty little toad, but he added to the fun.

Lol. I don't know where it came from, but she is definitely gifted! She has a 4 octave range, and is a mezzo soprano.
NO ONE in my family can sing!! And yet, she has been studying and taking voice lessons since she was 13. She's been singing in Italian, French, and German since she was 14.
I'm not a mom that gushes over her kids. All kids are wonderful. But. She is truly talented!!!

We know Bates is going to find out about Anna, and he's going to be pissed.

I'm kinda surprised he didn't intuit it already. Bates didn't like him from the get-go. I hope the story line doesn't include Bates assuming it was mutual. That would reeeeeaaaaaally piss me off.

I think Mrs Hughes is going to tell Bates. Remember during the concert, they made a point off showing Mrs Hughes noticing the return of the rapist scum to his seat?
