We have had a lot of talk about survivalist techniques. I know I have a lot of "how did they do that" curiosity also.

After seeing a fellow use a box bellows in a Hong Kong market many moons ago I've thought about building one. The European single acting bellows really limited the temperatures you could get from a hand powered forge but I've personally seen some really decent steel turned out from a charcoal campfire (by the wootz method) using a box bellows.
