Many years ago, there were folks who held that blacks wouldn't have what it took to be a QB in the NFL.

After yesterday, some folks will claim that gingers don't have what it takes.

I don't think anyone that isn't from Western Pennsyltucky is worth drafting but that's just a 40 year football fan opinion.

Judging by so many of the teams this year, The Man thinks nobody should be a qb or any other position in the NFL.

He was reduced to watching the national high school football game the other night. I was shocked at how the top kids in the country insisted on picking schools with no academics worth speaking of. Most of them won't make the pros, and those who do only have a short run. Yet none of these children, or their parents, thought it worthwhile to think about preparing for the rest of their lives.

I'm curious to see how far Carolina advances. They are the only upstart team with a chance to win the SB. DEN, SF, SEA, NE were all preseason picks to vie for the SB. I don't give SD or IND any chance to advance to NJ.

The more curious thing about the NFL is the dearth of white guys playing CB or RB. They are also in short supply at WR. For blacks, you don't see any kickers at all or punters since R. Roby retired.

Now that you mention it CB, you're right.
Damn, I'm going through players in my mind and I came up with nothing.
Grrrr, now I gotta google.
