Yes, he was in an auto accident. Yes, the medical care he is getting is not the best. We live in a small town, which shouldnt be an excuse, but it is a reason.

 
If the universe is out to get him, you may want to question him whether there is any spiritual reason for all this. Has he sinned severely?
 
What is a severe sin?
 
Did he want to die or quit before all this happened? Or did he want his life to be changed?
 
He and my sister were making plans to move back to Arizona. No, he did not want to die. He had alot of things to look forward to. He was making a legal left turn, using his turn signal and minding his own business, when an 87 year old man hit him from behind. He was then pushed out into on-coming traffic where he was hit head on by a 2 ton delivery truck. He was then bounced around like a pinball until he finally came to a stop in a ditch. None of this was his fault, other than being on the wrong road at the wrong time.
 
If he is not at the spiritual root of his mishaps, you may want to question others close to him, for example his wife or dependents.
 
I am not one who subscribes to "the universe is out to get him".  I do believe that things happen for a reason. We may not know the reasons when they happen, but eventually, time reveals what those reasons are.

No one opposed the move. It was encouraged that they go back to Az. since my sisters kids are there (albeit adults) and her grandchildren. You may be looking for something that isnt there.

I think you are forgetting one thing. This is in your opinion only. Like I said, I do not believe in this. You make it sound like it is an absolute. Maybe in your world it is, but in mine, as I explained it may be part of a larger picture that will develope itself in time.

I have been praying for him as well.  By the way, when I broke My leg they had Me on morphine at first.  I found that it barely did anything.  Even the high was not even worth the bother.  They switched be over to a heavy dose of Demerol and Gravol and that seemed to do the trick (not to mention I was seeing things.  What an interesting drug [8D])
