Problem is im 2"+ in girth and I cant find one wide enough.
Anyone know where I can get a 2"&1/4 In the UK

Dear Darkmike, Ladies and Gentlemen;

A ring gag was called a "French" gag in the 70's-80's.

Have you perhaps looked at male 'ball' stretchers and or cock rings?
All ring gags are flat with smooth edges, much like a hardware's machine ring, which could be found around the chain section.

You also may wish to look at your equestrian tack/furniture shops, to look for the Western Kit/Saddles; as the rings for the western girth to keep the saddles on come in different sizes.

I personally use horse racing latex bandages, which is similar to what we have "VetWrap."  However, latex bandage is more rubber and helps shield the teeth from chipping on pony play's 'bits.'  I use leather to create the head harness for a French gag, most from horse bridle parts.

May want to look at automobile engine 'spacers.'  They are metal as well as being round.

Mr S Leather might be of some help in the USA but, I would look into cock and ball stretchers or cock and ball rings with your local European BDSM supply.  Might be from Amsterdam or other kink friendly countries.

Good luck!

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

To they have walmarts in the UK? I found many rings of many sizes in their craft department.  Then it was off to tandy leather forn some straps and buckles but I probably could have just used webbing.

Thank you very much for your ideas folks.
I do however caution against using suede strips because the dye does bleed somewhat...lol..
but you could  braid the strips and use the old button and hole closures like in the better quality spanish horse tack...how wonderful..how beautiful..ahh I am having a vision...lol

Sub-shop.com has a ring gag of 2.5" outside diameter. However, it is claimed that it has a 1 5/8" inside diameter. Perhaps you will need something even larger. Huse.com carries a "spider gag" that has a 2" diameter, but the ring is only 1/8"--if you're not quite 2" in diameter, you may be able to make that work.
You may want to try a dental gag. They're not as bulky, and they generally open wider than ring gags. You can find those fairly easily, perhaps even at a place where you can try them.

I've never found a ring gag that I can fit through, and gave it up a long time ago, assuming that ring gags were just visually appealing but practically useless accouterments of porn videos.

But now that I hear one might be able to find a ring large enough in the Walmart crafts department, I think peach has an assignment.

perhaps looking in the hardware stores or anyplace that caters to animals might surprise you

Yes, they do, but they're called ASDA instead of Wal-Mart.  What they have in them I don't know cause I didn't go in one while I was there.  I figured there was enough Wal-Marts in America to see...

I haven't been able to use ring gags before because of my size either. I have found, however, that jaw spreaders have the same effect of making my sub's mouth completely helpless. I am a huge gag fetishist and I don't find it as hot as a ring gag would be, however it does achieve the desired effect and is still sexy.

I make my own, mine are better then those from the local toystre,
brass rod-easily bent. 1/8 inch
plastic tube for outter of brass rod.
some pipe to bend brass rod, with the plastic tube.
once bent into a ring.
you suply the leather for strap.
you can add chin strp,
and you can add strap over the head,
like a harness, it will fit better,
and the wearer will not be able to remove it
and a ring on top, to keep them where they need to be,
you may add some on the sides to,
depending how elaborat you wish to be.

I would allways make my own stuff,
sometimes the first, and or next may not have the best results,
but you will finally achieve what you want.
many say that I had bought mine.
and try to not give me credit for my workmanship
has improved, what do i care what they think
good luck to you
