That's funny, I'm the opposite. I save emails because I'm always afraid I might delete something that I'll want to refer to later. Just for personal and some business correspondence, the junk and spam I delete right away.

Okay, this is my personal OCD hell. My mother is terminal, her ticker is a time bomb with an invisible timer. 13 stints, triple bypass, and her arterial walls are like cellophane. It all comes back to those lovely Midwestern good eating habits... Most Midwesterners think gravy is a beverage, jus sayin. She didn't want to stay in the hospital, didn't want to go to hospice, refuses the nursing home, and I don't blame her one bit. So she came to live with me til the timer goes off. I am meticulously clean, eat very healthy, go to the gym every morning, and eat my vitamins and minerals every day. Mom is the antithesis of me. We are both staunchly German SS (not that SS, we're Stubborn and Stupid), and it seems that it has turned into a competition: Mom: I can clutter faster than you can clean. Me: yeah, but your old and sleep a lot (before I go to the gym, the house is once again clean) Me: you know, there are more preservatives listed on this than actual ingredients, right? Mom: those are flavors, not preservatives. Mom: do you know what would be really good on that rice? Me: this chicken stir fry. Mom: and gravy. Life is good Exiled

I must not be very ocd, then. Because none of the pictures bothered me lol. My compulsions are. Usually along the line of picking at stuff timm im satisfied, or till it bleeds.

I am not particularrly OCD< but and this is a big but.. I do the mail thing like LW, MrP etc, I cant have an unread message highlited. I have about 40 filters set up, business, pet, family, suppliers, bills, etc etc, all my wanted groups and forums, online shopping sites emails, etc etc I cant handle seeing a notification. Im also extremely OCD about my computer files but its still chaos cos there just are not enough hours in a year.

Here's another I just thought of. At work I run a computer system that is used for all our offices. Now these people have been trained how to use the system and the governance but yet they refuse to name the files in the correct way or set up their sites correctly. So then everyday while I'm in the system, coding or repairs or whatever, I come across these issues. I'm supposed to go back to these people and tell them of their mistakes and to allow them to fix it on their own so they learn how to do it correctly. But most of them either never do or it takes them FOREVER to get around to it. So I have to sit on my hands and try not to fix the problems. Do you have any idea how hard that is when I have to look at it all day everyday and I can't fix it????? I wanna pull out my hair. Now I admit there are times I just can't take it and I fix it anyway because I'm annoyed and I just can't look at it another moment. [sm=gaah.gif]

Correct the file names and put them in a different map. If they complain that they cannot find it, then ask them in which map they put it. Then look in different maps until you happen to find the file. Then say: "Look, here it is! You put it in the wrong map!"
