ORIGINAL: Blonderfluff Why on earth would I want you to hypnotize me, if you will make me do things I DONT want to do? Yeah. That would be a hard limit for most people. I am fascinated about hypnosis, just not for the reasons your post states. Could you tell us more about your experiences that aren't about taking advantage of the people you hypnotize? I really am very curious. How did you learn how to hypnotize? Can everyone BE hypnotized ?? Technically, you can't hypnotize anybody to do anything they don't want to do at some level, consciously or subconsciously, and it is the latter (the subconscious mind) to which "suggestions" and subliminal programming get directed in my understanding, usually for the purposes of breaking negative habit patterns, assuming or replacing them with positive ones, and for suppressed memory recovery. I would be extremely wary of erotic hypno practitioners, as this lady appears to be, since they are geared toward practicing mind control, and other brainwashing techniques. Even clinical hypnotherapists can take on-line courses, attend a few workshops, etc. to get certified and pay a nominal fee to get licensed in their state. Why would a person submit themselves to erotic hypno? Other than out of thrill-seeking curiosity, I knew a switch who decided he wanted to stay sub, but he wanted to eradicate any Topping desires he still had. Why he thought he needed help with this or couldn't do it on his own, I have no idea. I guess he thought this would be a shortcut to doing the work for himself. A male sub once told me he was fascinated with the idea of being totally under a Domme's power and control without his conscious mind getting in the way. Again, being drawn to the concept of giving up personal responsibility for one's action. Another echoed this same sentiment. There might be Dominants who strive to become more Dom/mely, who knows WTF notions some people get. Supposedly everyone is hypnotizable to some extent once they have agreed to be hypnotized. There are others who are so suggestible, and so easily hypnotizable, that it can be done without their overt knowledge or explicit consent, which has been demonstrated for its sensationalistic entertainment value in Las Vegas shows. However, it can be argued that even the highly suggestible have tacitly consented to this process at some level of cooperation. I won't provide any unverifiable links that I haven't had the opportunity to peruse for myself. Frankly, I wouldn't touch this area with a 10-foot pole.
