While I haven't watched a 'scene' porn movie in years, I have viewed clips occasionally, and while Kink.com comes close in some respects, it still boils down to roughly the same thing. Pretty girl comes in, there's some off-camera banter, and then bam! they get down to it. One second she's kicking back on the stool or bench fully clothed, a couple seconds later, she's buck-naked with her arms and legs akimbo swaddled in a half-mile of rope.
Worse still are the ones where the 'victim' is trussed up in perfectly aligned and tied ropework, her hair, nails, and makeup is perfect, and she's still wearing her court heels and lingerie without a seam out of place. Nothing against the shibari artists, they have a passion for it I can't match, but I like to see the roughness and rawness of the scenes I used to play out. I like to see hair gone wild, smudged lipstick and makeup, clothing askew or missing altogether. And while I love seeing high heels and boots, in a 'real' scene, they're gone because they simply get in the way, at least for me.
Another thing that irks me is when you see a 'victim' (note I don't specify gender here) on a leash and standing while their ankles are bound together. And wearing six-inch stilettos (okay, that's a woman, for the most part). The first healthy tug and she's gonna hit the ground hard. Believe me, I know it's staged for effect (see my post in Off-Topic on Porn Isn't Real), but most of it smacks too much of unreality to me.
For that reason, I find myself attracted to amateur porn because the producers tend to be more 'into' their particular scene and the situations presented are more familiar to me than the glossy, overproduced stuff that's out there, but that's just me. Just once, I'd like to see a flick that has a real plot, believable action, and convincing ending. With a real script and characterization, not "Mistress So-and-so demands strict obedience!" or "Master punishes his naughty slavegirl!" It's old and overdone.
On that note, while I'm not a fan of John Norman, I can see his novels being adapted to film (and I believe that some were, although I may be wrong). Another good one would be Heinlein's Citizen of the Galaxy, which uses the interstellar slave trade as a major plot vehicle. There are probably hundreds of stories that could be adapted into a more cerebral BDSM porn movie, but the problem is that the producers always aim for the lowest common denominator, it seems.

I checked out xbondage.com a couple times too. I normally watch it alone, I'm shy that way. The stuff I watch mostly, of course, is the F/m stuff. And the whipping and the strap-on stuff. I can't relate to M/f and I'd like to learn how to handle a single tail. As for the strap-on, well.......
