There could be so many reasons why someone dosnt respond to an email. The only emails I don't respond to are ones that tell me how amazing I am, what a real woman I am and how I need to be with a "real" Master, namely, them...basically any emails that disrespect my relationship with Master aren't worthy of a reply. I think, just generally though, in our society people have lost contact with general social graces, we must accept this so as to not to drive ourselves insane wanting something to be different than it is...doesn't mean we have to bring that kinda person into our world. You could see it this way, by getting no response, they are saving you the time of having to find out yourself you aren't interested in them.

George, This is the internet. People, be they dominant or submissive, police their own email. There is no rule, written or unwritten, which says that anyone receiving an email must reply to said email. It's not a question of manners or grace. It's a simply personal choice. It's not anyone on CM that must change, George, it's your preconceived ideas of what is correct and what is not that must change. Have no expectations here, for it is quite certain, they will not be met.
