Everyone, back away slowly... Shy guy coming through!

Heh, me and my warped humor. Anyway, I just wanted to go ahead and thrust myself into the spotlight before running away to hide. I'm hoping to find the right guy (or guys; yes, I'm one of those people) to really introduce me to the lifestyle. Well, introduce might not be quite right - we're quite good friends already, but I haven't exactly gotten an opportunity to play.

In case you haven't noticed by now, I'm quite thoroughly an oddball and proud of it. Hopefully that won't be too much of a turn off for you folks. I like my particular brand of crazy.

So, the crux of my problem is I'm curious, interested, and ready to test my open-mindedness like never before but I'm also fairly paralyzed by the thought of actually talking to people. The only way I'm writing this by pretending really hard that nobody else is actually going to read it. Well, it's not quite that bad, but I like my hyperbole.

Well, I'm shy and I live in the middle of the bible belt. I have no problem with that in particular but it doesn't seem conducive to the "atypical bizarrity" that I'm searching for. Folks out here seem dreadfully vanilla!

So, hello! Forgot to mention I ramble - bad habit. If you haven't fled by now, I'd love to talk. Even if all I ever get out of this site is friends, I'd be happy with that. Just so long as you're willing to deal with me clamming up with this dreadful shyness until I get to know you a bit.

So, what do you say?

Hello Rachek nice to have you join us here. I am not sure if what you seek you will find so much on this side as it usually happens over on the

other profile side. But you have come to a great place for discussions on all types of subjects and to chat with folks that actual live it real time.

Many here are real life couples and are very friendly folks. Stick around do some looking and see what this side is all about and maybe do some

posting of your own. Don't be shy only one or two still bite. [:D]

Hi Rachek, and welcome. I already happen to like your particular brand of crazy. Anyone who uses "hyperbole" in a sentence is going to be a great addition to this side. Please don't run a way and hide! Stick around, read some of the threads, and chime in with your "atypical bizzarity". I love people who make up their own words!!!!

Thanks muchly for the kind words! I'd have responded sooner but as my phone oh-so-helpfully pointed out, I needed to go to sleep. Gotta love working the night shift.

I think I'll enjoy taking part in discussions, at least when I have things to contribute. In case it isn't patently obvious I have a tendency to recursively digress into sub-digressions and fling about flamboyant phraseology and "big words" at the slightest provocation. I believe it's a response to forcing myself through the shyness. It may just be the fact I read too much. But I digress.

It's just nice to see a more serious side. I previously joined the site many moons ago when I was far more timid and, to be honest, completely clueless. After the first person sent me a message with some rather provocative requests, I fled in awkward terror and promptly deleted my account. Now I'm back, hopefully to stay. Possibly to contribute. Probably to pester.

I must admit my first post seems to be a rather shameless plug. I suppose it's just on the slim (but still possibly possible!) chance that someone interested in more than just base carnality could be interested. I like to think miracles are possible and all that. Then again, carnality does have its place every now and again. And another digression! So, to be more focused, I'm rather interested in just meeting new people and possibly forming friendships. You can never have too many friends, especially those with whom you can discuss those strange little things that'd make your average person blush to the the point of facial hemorrhage.

I'm going to cut myself off now before I turn this into even more of a rambling essay than it already is. It's good to be here and I look forward to getting to know you folks. Ta ta for now!

Hello and welcome. When I saw the header, I thought this was another one of the 'watch out for so-and-so' threads, and I was pleasantly surprised to find one of the best intros I've read here. It's refreshing when someone comes in and demonstrates they're aware of the realities on a place like this. I suspect that with time and patience, you will find what you seek.
