Deftly steering this back on track-it really depends on the subject in question and the situation. Now as a caveat, it has been some time since I've been in a situation where I could dictate couture to another, but let me dust off the ol' wetware and see... Obviously, in the daylight world, what is culturally and socially appropriate. I see no need to attract unwanted attention upon her or me. Most of my past playmates also tended to wear what we'd call 'crossover' apparel now, because I was in the heavy metal 'rocker trash' scene in the eighties and nineties, so leather, spandex, and studs were pretty much a given most of the time. Behind closed doors, it was down to the altogether except for the collar and leash. While I seriously dug boots and heels, I also learned very quickly that they can cause serious issues when the evening came to climax, if you please. I have a very interesting scar on one leg as a result of a stiletto heel, so they tend to go barefoot at some point. More than once, I've had to make some accomodation for their overall comfort (I'm too damn COLD like this! she whined), so I'd bend a bit and allow them a bodystocking. I'm not a big fan of the fancy scene wear they hawk or the complex stuff like stockings and garters. When I was on the 'ponygirl' kick a few years back, harnesses looked appealing, but I can see some technical downsides to most styles, especially in the southern regions. The short answer is: in public, dress comfortably and conservatively, with perhaps a sneaky little tell like a choker or a kitten collar. In the bedroom, nothing but a smile and some neckwear. And cool shoes. That come off easily when necessary. That's all, folks.
