"After you leave recruit training, you will me ministers of death, praying for war."  Srgt. Hartman (Full Metal Jacket)

That one was always a personal favorite.  Does anybody else have some super-diesel, machismo-dripping movie quotes out there?

I've posted this a couple of times, but it hits the spot for me. It's from Pulp Fiction.

"Jules:Wanna know what I'm buyin' Ringo?
Pumpkin: What?
Jules: Your life. I'm givin' you that money so I don't hafta kill your ass. You read the Bible?
Pumpkin: Not regularly.
Jules: There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you. I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd. "

Theres a few in "Cool Hand Luke"  1967

The captian when he arrives:You gonna fit in real good, of course, unless you get rabbit in your blood and you decide to take off for home. You give the bonus system time and a set of leg chains to keep you slowed down just a little bit, for your own good, you'll learn the rules. Now, it's all up to you. Now I can be a good guy, or I can be one real mean son-of-a-bitch. It's all up to you.

The Captain after he runs and is brought back: What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week - which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.

Go ahead, Make My Day. Said by Clint Eastwood in " Dirty Harry".  I still swoon every time I hear it.

It isn't a quote, but that little nod Rick gives the band leader when the suicidal idiot Laszlo tells the bandleader to play La Marseillaise has got to make the theater knee deep in testosterone.

From one of my all time favorite movies:  Papillon

Said by Dega:  A temptation resisted is a true measure of character.

Said by Dega:  Blame is for God and small children.

Said by Warden Barott: Put all hope out of your mind. And masturbate as little as possible, it drains the strength!

Or a bunch of lines from Midnight Cowboy.

The macho lines are easy in " Manly " movies. Real men say better things.

"You gonna do somethin', or just stand there and bleed?" - Tombstone, said by Kurt Russel to Billy Bob Thornton

"SUCK MY DICK!" - G.I. Jane, said by Demi Moore (yeah, that's right... a female quote!)

"Say Hello to my little friend!" - Scarface, said by Al Pacino (I'm SOOOO hoping that man is a Dom.  *drool*)

"There is nothing on this earth sexier, and I mean this, than a woman you have to salute in the morning. If you haven't gotten a blow-job from a superior officer, well, you're just letting the best in life pass you by. 'Course, my problem is, I'm a colonel, so I guess I'll just have to keep taking cold showers until one of you gals is elected president." - A Few Good Men, said by Jack Nicholson

"I'm gonna rip the eyes outta your head and piss in your dead skull!  You fucked with the wrong marine!" - A Few Good Men, said by Jack Nicholson

"Losers always whine about their best." - The Rock, said by Sean Connery

"How about... I give you the finger... and you give me my phone call." - The Matrix, said by Keanu Reeves

"I don't want to kill everyone... just my enemies." - The Godfather, said by Al Pacino

"People who talk in metaphors oughtta shampoo my crotch!" - As Good As It Gets, said by Jack Nicholson

--Those are just some of my favorites.  I'll stop now so somebody else can put some up.  =)

A couple from Marv (Sin City)

"I love hitmen. No matter what you do to them, you don't feel bad".

"I don't hear you giving me any name, jerk. Guess when I shot you in the belly, I aimed a little too high." *Blows his balls off*

"They don't ask me any questions. They just keep knocking the crap out of me and waving a confession in my face. And I keep spitting blood all over it and laughing at how many fresh copies they come up with. Then along comes this worm assistant district attorney who turns the recorder off and says if I don't sign their confession, they'll kill my mom. I break his arm in three places and I sign it."

Great character Marv, Mickey Rourke did a great job playing him
