urscute6969 -> What is Your description of an alpha slave (1/25/2014 10:02:19 AM)

Please indulge me? i am fascinated with the term Alpha slave.. Both in how You as Female Dominates see the actual title being used in Your household, and the personality of the person You would honor with the title in Your household..

Also as my Owner has stated that She has been seeking "The One" Her entire 25 years of Her Femdom life and that She found it in me Her best friend for over 16 years.. In Your opinion are such people rare that can meet Your expectations and be elevated to Alpha slave status in Your life and household?

As for me i believe why my Owner calls me Her alpha.. But i am always open to everyone's ideas so that i can perfect the life my Mistress lives..

Please share Your knowledge, wisdom and heart on this subject

Thank You

I've been called an Alpha-sub a lot of times.

The less common definition seems to be 'the primary partner in life' - usually in polyamorous relationships. As in, a female dominant may have various relationships with men, but she only loves and (possibly) lives with one man in particular. He's the one that has her heart and shares life with her. That could be the Alpha-sub.

The more common definition is that it's a male submissive who, generally speaking, has a strong personality outside of the bedroom. A man who is fit, successful in life, sure of himself; all the typical attributes associated with 'alpha males'. He just prefers to come home and follow rather than lead.

The term "alpha slave" wouldn't be used in my home. There are none greater than the next in my home. Levels of respect may differ, change, afford different privileges, but no title is given do to those things.

I've mostly seen it used when there is more than one sub/slave in the household to denote which has the highest "ranking" or the sub that is put in charge when the dominant is not around. Very often the "alpha" will be a switch or at least someone who doesn't mind being put in charge of others. I've also seen it used as a self-applied term when the submissive is trying to distinguish themselves from the stereotypical doormat-type submissive. Like all lables it's use is simply a personal choice and the sublties of definition change from person to person.

I probably wouldn't be with a femdom who'd even think in terms of 'alpha slaves' in the first place. I'd be embarrassed at being called 'alpha' anything: it always makes me think of burger-jockeys who are marginally more intelligent and successful than their pals who live in the same trailer park.

alpha is an earned title, last large scale poly i was part of it meant for me that i could go where i wanted and do what i pleased, i had trainer status and normal slave rules didnt apply, the only one i answered to one the head(head of household).... a big deal in a city where everyone knows your owner and if you want to take a walk down the street someone will yell from a car window that they plan on tattling on you.... obnoxious. in the long run its a method of conditioning, as competition always is. so you can earn the extra privilege title awards you or you can leave and make up your own titles

Do you earn the title 'Alf' if you're an 'Alpha Slave'?

Nobody has ever called me 'Alf'. :-(

nope but last time i was asked to choose what i wanted the other slaves to call me i said "carpet" partially because i was laying on the carpet, could think of nothing more witty or ironic and that did the job of getting her to stop crying and giggle

I have used "Alphas" as ones that I could take to events and did not have to worry about how they would act or serve. Also used an alpha to take other subs to new heights and directions knowing that "Alpha" to me just means that I trust their experience and they will not allow emotions such as competiveness to override what they KNOW they are supposed to be doing. There are subs that are trusted more in some areas then others just because of experience.
