I am not the super sensitive "music moves me" type but this is the most poignant song. I am not gay, no close relatives but this song still spoke to me.

I do love that song and cry everytime I sing along with it. It's a great song. I do feel as though the song applies to everyone. Especially if you've ever felt as though you didn't fit into society's "normal" and were/are afraid to share the real you or have had people you've cared about that have struggled with who they are.
That song speaks to me in a few ways.
