And now I have to venture out in this 1 degree shit for a dentist appointment.

Fun? Wow!

(MasterCaneman should get that reference).

It's much warmer here today, a balmy 3 degrees. That's before the wind chill of course.

I am right outside of Atlanta and we are in a state of emergency, cars and trucks still stuck on the roads from yesterday, a friends hubby got home at 6 this am after leaving downtown Atlanta at 2 yesterday afternoon, kids spending the night at schools cause buses couldn't get to them or get them home...........it is surreal.

Georgia doesn't do snow well, add the ice on the roads and I think we are in the house til Friday at least. Not even gonna make it to 32 today.

Oh, I do. I have to go out shortly, and I'm procrastinating as much as possible today. Fun. Wow. Or more precisely, Unh! Ow! when I step outside the door.

Supposed to get up to 72 for the high tomorrow, after an overnight low of 41. There might be a little morning frost by the weekend, as the forecast is for colder weather...

Careful Heretic, them's fightin' words around here. I started a weather thread a few weeks ago called "it's too damn hot" (San Luis Obispo captured the highest temp in the nation award at 91 degrees). Some people said they didn't like me very much, others pulled no punches and said they hate me. Just like the model on TV says "don't hate me because I'm beautiful", I said "don't hate me 'cuz I live in a place with great weather!"

They were saying it should hit 80° tomorrow, but it was down to 38 this morning and it'll probably be in the upper 70s this afternoon. It's been in the 70s every day for weeks now, but also dry as a bone. This season is dryer than normal, which could lead to more wildfires a few months down the road.

The snowbirds are here.

It's like a heat wave here! It's 12 now and expected to reach the low 20s tomorrow.
I'm getting conflicting information regarding a possible snow storm on my birthday next week - I certainly did not ask for that as a present. I'd like to officially request, from the grantor of birthday wishes, that my birthday be snow-free and a freakish 70 degrees. I'll settle for 30, though.

I'm halfway between Albany and Manhattan.

I have started torturing myself when I check the weather by checking Alaska. For the last couple of weeks it has consistently been warmer there than here. Something is wrong with this.

LOL. I just checked the 10 day and there is only one day that's supposed to be a negative.. and that's only -1 for a low. Strange for here but not complaining one bit.
