From "Blame Bush" to "Be The Same As Bush"

I said (in 2007) that this guy was familiar

And everyone else has said all along that the nutsackers are whiney bitches trying to be relevant, and they ain't.

The word opportunity has been used many times without quoting a seriously fuckheaded Dubya.

Owner59 -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/29/2014 12:53:07 PM)

Someone call the whaaaa-haaa-haa-ambulance....

Was the speechwriter the one responsible for dick and bush NOT speaking at or being invited to the republican convention?[:D]

cloudboy -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/29/2014 3:08:01 PM)

He also posted that Nelson Mandela was a BLACK SUPREMACIST.

What stands out about the right posting here over the past 30 days are the political declarations and denouncements absent facts or stories to support them. They've kind of gone quiet with the absence of scandal about the IRS, Benghazi, and ACA rollout. Absent scandal and something to be angry about, none of them puts forth the right wing solutions to the national problems at hand.

The clucking should pick up if there is some kind of Obama misstep in the near future. The task at hand now is to stop any raise to the minimum wage, stonewall immigration reform, and try and undermine the ACA.

Cmon man, stop regurgitating the same right wing BS and form your own opinion. There are only so many things you can say in a speech about 1) the economy 2) the environment 3) political parties and 4) foreign policy before you start saying the same things that have been said before. A lot of the things conservatives and liberals say are pretty similar (except these days conservatives just spew crap about christianity and other forms of hate), so to say that obama and bush said similar things isn't that big of a deal. What is as big of a deal is if they DO the same things. Actions do speak louder than words after all.

Yep. You're correct. It's actions that count.

So, due to my actions it's all good. I have insurance. I have a job. I have a house paid for. I am making money and looking to make more with Government grants for this and that to help our economy and the energy problem and global warming and equality with the rich if I can help it.

You guys keep watching Obama's mouth move.

He won't be back to defend himself; rather he'll block out the posters who challenge him. Reading his posts is a little bit like seeing a driver throw a bag of trash outside of car window while driving down the road. He doesn't come back to pick it up.

Imagine, if Bush and Obama had had a some he would have looked like that [8D]

Marc2b -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/29/2014 5:03:06 PM)

The only thing that story proves is that political rhetoric is as mundane and predictable as beer commercials.

EdBowie -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/29/2014 7:54:33 PM)

All I'm hearing is 'Wolf!!'...

From the article:

quote:

...none of Obama's lines "were directly lifted" from Bush's 2007 address, though in both speeches the presidents repeatedly used versions of the word "opportunity" and both concluded with stories about veterans who had been wounded in combat.

How can you say that? I love the Bud commercials and the new puppy adoption one made me tear up it was so sweet.

And my post above this should have read "son" not "some" although I suppose they would have to get some before they got a son so maybe it still works. Too late to edit either way.

Budweiser doesn't count because Budweiser isn't really beer. It's fermented moose piss.

Well, to be fair, boi did not actually say he liked the beer, only that he liked their commercials.

Yes but my point is that Budweiser, being canned monkey diarrhea, does not qualify as beer and therefore their commercials do not qualify as beer commercials.
It further follows that Budweiser commercials, even when they involve interspecies pedophilia, do not represent a break from the usual beer commercial tropes of
idiot men watching sports in large groups or suave/hip/adventurous men surrounded by beautiful women. This being the case, it then follows that my point that
political rhetoric is as mundane and predictable as a beer commercial remains valid.

And THAT is unassailable logic!

servantforuse -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/30/2014 7:40:41 PM)

You are mistaken sir. Budwiser beer is Clydesdale horse piss.

Owner59 -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/30/2014 7:46:18 PM)

And the most popular beer in Japan.....[X(]

And both parties love the same beer, yet they disagree on whether they think it "tastes great" or "less filling."

You might want to change the clauses to:

boi did not actually say her liked the beer, only that her liked their commercials.

That's not exactly how I would do that, but I am sure you get the gimmick.

Kirata -> RE: Oblamer Changes His Tune (1/31/2014 5:58:00 AM)

Obama isn't "changing his tune," but some of his supporters are...

Just quit!

K.

I said I like their commercials. I never claimed to drink the stuff. Personally I don't care for the taste of beer, it all tastes like fermented moose piss to me. [:)]
