Status: offline 		Rubber tires, people sell them all the time, at yard sales if they're good, so that's on thing. but what are the possible uses out there for rubber as upcycled or scavanged. One up cycled use is to garden people do that all the time, and one is for martial art target practice, now i know some tires are yucky an you want nothing to do with them but , the ones you know aren't


alos i just wanna see the damanged things stop littering our streets and towns you get a ton of people just leaving them on the side walks and streets, is there any program that will take them away?

Status: offline 		Just so you're aware. If you can't sell those tires, the state will charge you a disposal fee for getting rid of those tires.

Status: offline 		Well i won't pick up so many that would happen. i am aware of that one back firing on me. i just , i don't know i hate to have them all over our levee and our walk ways an town an shit .

You have no way of knowing if that would happen. You could pick up 1 tire and there's a possibility that it wouldn't sell.

I'm really happy for you that you want to take some control. But, that also means that you need to have your ducks in a row to protect yourself. You need to make sure that you have exit strategies and contingency plans. And rule #1 of sales, there is never a guarantee that someone will buy what you're trying to sell.

Do your research, please. You're injured right now. Use that time to look things up.

Status: offline 		How do you plan to pick up anything when your foot is paralyzed and your back is spasming from a recent fall? Why don't you get a real job through one of those agencies that helps people with disabilities find work? You could be learning real skills and improving your life instead of trying to cash in by filing frivolous lawsuits.

Status: offline 		People make very nice planters with them, but it takes quite a bit of strength as you have to turn it inside out and a very sharp knife, which runs you the risk of cutting yourself.

Status: offline 		Oh i have plenty of ideas forthe one or two and using them n a way nobody can see what we got doing. that's no big deal it's the 15 i could possibly bring home and get stuck with i won't do to myself. im researching on the recyclables page for ca what kind of stuff scrappers may want an i'll call tomorow cuz some places may take tin cans from cables soup you never know tilly ou ask.

ve seen people even use them in home design sometimes, like to protect their mail box post from having it's bell rung every time some imbeil with a bat wants to drive by an play batters up .

Status: offline 		Its called ask big strong Daddy to pick it up. tha's how i been getting all this stuff in the first place cuz i am not strong enough to pick up heavy shit and he lifts heavy shit in a kitchen all the time.

plus while i am hurt and can't act im thinking up contingencies.

salvage tires are sold by the truckload. semi truck, not pickup truck. if you're lucky, you might get a company to pay you $100 for the entire truckload, but that's only if they are grinding them up to mix with asphalt for road projects and desperately need them. this is usually not the case.
more commonly, you can get rid of the truckload if you pay a tipping fee of $50-75 to the company taking them.

to be more specific so there is no confusion, they don't show up with a semi truck to load your tires in. you normally have to deliver your semi truck to them, and if their guys are sitting around at the yard, they will help your guys unload.

Status: offline 		I dealt with used tires with my dad, all legal like. Kept the books, inventory, who he sold to...

find a good polyester tire and make a tire swing.

We got our tires from Fort Worth. Getting up at 3 to make it there before rush hour was not my favorite thing.

Status: offline 		Yup and because people do not have the desire to think creatively and use things out side the box. People litter because theyre to lazy to either RRR or to think about the impact. If i drove and or had tires that were mine, of all kinds of sizes, like i had a couple different vehnicles i'd create something with them all. it's all about how you look at things. change your prospective and think outside the box and you'd be amazed and what you can find value in that would have seen worthless. i've known that for ages.

Status: offline 		oh oh oh tires are often cut into shape of a U and sunk into the ground for creative looks. to edge playgrounds or where kids gonna play or for creativity. a bunch of them done up right can look like a giant catipilar.
