So, this ... self-described "Master" just messaged us offering to sell his slave. Only $500.

He even considerately sent the slave's pictures... one stolen from an existing CM user profile (who lives half a country away from him); and one from Japanese porn forum.

Is $500 a fair price for such an attractive offer?

That depends. What would the ISSA (International Slave Sellers Association) Guide say is a fair price for her particulars?

Pyramus -> RE: What is a fair price for a stolen slave? (2/1/2014 3:19:15 PM)

While I realize these are all scams, to flesh out the topic, I once responded to the guys selling slaves here on Collarme. They wrote that it was mostly Asian women, and we (their new prospective owners) would need to pay for all their travel to the USA and the paperwork, vaccinations, etc.

I suspect, if a woman ever did show up (which, I strongly doubt), she'd leave the moment she got off the airplane, or run into the hands of LE, since, you just can't do that kind of stuff in the USA.

I forget the reputed costs, but, IIRC, it was around 10,000 USD.

I wonder how often the scammers score??

graven42 -> RE: What is a fair price for a stolen slave? (2/1/2014 3:59:13 PM)

Hrrm.. 'used subs' r I think depends a lot on the condition of said sub... One that's been regularly maintained, regardless of the 'mileage', will, of course, better than one that has not been well maintained.

This is like the time a sub messaged me... "I've got a Master for you, if you want."
So I looked at her profile, saw who she was 'owned' by.. and messaged him, asking him why his sub was trying to sell him off and what was wrong with him that she wanted to get rid of him? Also what sort of maintenance record did he have, and did he have a regular shop that he used for routine maintenance? It amused us both, I think.....

However, I rather dislike people that use their subs to get the more victim-er-playpartners....

Unfortunately there are enough lonely people out there who do which makes it worth their while. Sad but true.

Probably often enough to keep up the scam. If you tell one hundred HNGs you have a slave for sale, and ninety-nine laugh you off, you still made your money on the last one.

PS, Resident Sadist, if you ever wrote a book, I'd buy it. I'd love to sit down with you one day with a bottle of Jack and pick your brain for story ideas. Seriously.

What you need to see here is a clear title. Because you don't want to be accused of buying known stolen goods.

@DarkSteven - you need a clearinghouse to accept the futures first, or CFTC will be on your ass (in a non-kinky way).

Also, it's been a while since one of us saw FpML but pretty sure sex slave futures weren't in the spec.

Yeah, you're right I suppose, but you're not thinking outside the box... We incorporate in the Caymans, base the futures fund out of Kasakstan, and ..... he'res the fucking kicker... denominate the fucker in bitcoins!

Good point, but if you run her through a couple of states that don't require one, you can sometimes conceal that fact after a few transactions. Or if you swap her VIN (or would that be SIN?) number with one from the boneyard. And yeah, that last was creepy, I must admit. [;)]

Delta - Tried to go via support link... which promptly threw out an error message "Scammers must be reported using the 'Report' button for the relevant profile, journal entry, or message. Do not use this form to report scammers."

That was a warning message... when typed up the actual response, clicking "Submit" button generates an error "Scammers must be reported using the 'Report' button." and doesn't let you submit.

Choose "Other" as the reason.

As people, we have no dollar value. We're all priceless to the people in our lives, or should be.

ResidentSadist -> RE: What is a fair price for a stolen slave? (2/16/2014 10:17:58 PM)

A used sub is worth $15,000.00 - US funds. So a stolen sub is worth 10 - 20% of that.

It depends whether the slave comes with a guarantee.

And his/her own teeth [:D]

Technically it could be his/her own teeth if they were bought and he/she just likes to keep them in a glass at night. It's all a matter of perspective...
