No way could this go south. Welcome to collarme. just letting you know, I've always thought of trans people as those who use hormones and have as a goal living FT, and crossdressers as those who dress up for a thrill, and then go back to being their born gender.

Hi Misty and thank you for your welcome hunny. I guess I should clarify my gender position in case it's unclear in any way. I am a ''transexual'' and dress up to feel I am expressing my true and natrural gender, however I've lived a dual existance which is a nightmare and then I've lived more or less full time as a woman. I take female hormone treatment and will eventually have sex change surgery. I was married trying to live a ''normal'' life but failed miserably. Anyhow, just thoughtr Id set the record strait. Hi Darksteven, I only just read your post and felt I should respond. I guess you haven't known many trans women and unfortunately the whole issue is shrouded in myth, ignorance and prejudice so one can't blame you for being a little confused. Thank you for your comments but I was surprised by your wishes of sympathy, I'm sorry that you feel so horrified by my circumstances but I'm actually a very creative, passionate and happy person. Fortunately I'm attractive as a woman so I can make that difficult choice with relative ease. The girls who display the greatest courage are the one's who's transition to female is hindered by heavily masculine facial features and such... Anyhow, fortunately I am more than just my gender so I'd rather have your support than your sympathy. Love, Ash. x

Ashley, I think you misunderstood DarkSteven's post. I'm fairly sure he was offering you sympathies on the part where you had to live a dual existence, which you said was a nightmare. He's a nice guy, I'm pretty sure he'd offer sympathies with anyone who had to live through a nightmare situation, whatever the reason. He wasn't saying that just being trans means you need people's sympathy.

I 2nd this. DS was in no way confused or anything like that, he gave you his sympathies because he does know how difficult it is, he was actually trying to be nice. So welcome here, and yes, you look very very attractive!

Ashley hun ...typed words are so hard to read sometimes. I have learned through years of chatting that many times when we think someone is not seeing things quite the same as you hope....many times they are. If I am unsure of what someone is trying to say I just ask them to please clarify for me. It seems to put a quicker stop to the misunderstanding that may have taken place. Since I cannot speak for Dark Steven myself....why not ask him to clarify it for you?? Most here really do try to be helpful here. Hopefully you will find that also and stick around and join here and see what this side truly is all about.

Ashley - I've known several transwomen, and have had one as my sub. All of them stated how hard it was for them to live presenting male when they were female inside. I was commenting on how hard it must be for you to have to present male, while knowing you could pass easily.
