Hi folks. Posting from my cell phone because my ISP now states collarme and collarchat is unavailable. Everything was working fine yesterday. None of my devices on wifi are able to access it. Same message on Explorer and Firefox. 4G on my cell phone can get it fine.

Suggestions?

PS: all other sites are accessible.

Sometimes this happens to me. Clearing my cache and browsing history seems to fix it. Have you tried that?

Have you considered changing your DNS Server??? ISP's want you to use there's so they can shape traffic but you can use others and get around what your ISP is shaping the traffic for.

Also you can use proxies, and vpn's but That's all up to you.

TOR might be something you might want to look into.

I probably would give it 24 hours before calling your ISP. But you can call them ask specifically about it to see if the ISP is blocking it.

Other possibilities:
Your Router - Does it have parental controls on it? An update might have happened that might have turned on parental controls?

Internet firewall - an attacked could have happened and it might block a particular IP address. Usually those time out after an hour or 2

Internet DNS server is down - not much you can do about this one but wait. A DNS server in your area could have gone down. Generally these are not down for more than 24 hours most of the time

Earlier the scroll stopped for at least an hour, at least on my end. I have learned, not to do anything and wait it out. I used to change all sorts of things only to find that it was something going on at CM. It worked before, it will work again, is the attitude I take and it typically gets sorted out fairly soon.

This is a known issue. We apologize for any inconvenience. According to the tech department, it has been fixed however it will take time for the changes to take full effect. Please, be patient.

You can quickly test if it’s a DNS issue:
Does this link load collarchat.com on WiFi for you?
http://72.13.91.174

If it does, you have a DNS issue. It will likely resolve on its own in a bit, but using an alternative DNS server can probably fix the issue if you don’t want to wait. Google Public DNS is one free option: they have some instructions for setting it up. To get access across multiple devices, you can often set a DNS server on your router as well, but it may not be worth the effort for what is likely a transient problem.

Thank you, shallowdeep. Accessing the site through your numbered address above worked!

Try setting your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.

Thank you, SWDesertDom. I looked up how to do that, and frankly it scares me.

I had issues with both sites yesterday. I thought it was a problem my end to start with as a site checker said it was all working. I just kept getting the 'this page can not be displayed' thing. then it was back.

Hell, I couldn't go anywhere last night. I gave up and went to bed. Same thing a couple minutes ago but finally the page loaded.
