I have tried to figure out Fet...I have even been "friended" by many from here (some may have been accidents....but I don't care)... Does everyone use the same nicks/handles on CM on FL? How do you locate people you "know"? The site drives me insane but I do like to use it to find local events and would like to become an active user on there.

I have an account there but I DESPISE the freakin' site so I am, essentially, never there. That said, I have been "DaddySatyr" almost everywhere on the internet (one site comes to mind as being a variation) since 2001 or so. Hell, I was "DaddySatyr" (amongst others) on World Of Warcraft.

I'm 'technically' on Fet, too, but like DS, I don't like the site. There's something about the layout that makes my eyes hurt. I use The_Caneman over there, same pic. I even have the loneliest group in the world over there, too.

am pretty much the same on there (soul_alloy) though obviously not close enough to your location to be any good for events lol :-P (unless you decide to visit NW UK of course...)

I'm on there (and same ID name) but I mostly go on to read things posted by people who got banned from here :) And of course for the pictures and videos. But the discussions aren't set up as well as they are here.

I don't go over there unless somebody mentions something, and even then if they don't post a link, I have a hell of a time finding it. As Sprited said, their set up for discussion sucks. Ok, she didn't say "sucks" I did. But it does. I don't do the event thing so that doesn't matter to me. If I ever change my mind, I would probably look there, but I don't see that happening in the near future.

Im Lucylastic over there, I go to more events between DC/Frederick than up here in Toronto. I dont do discussions much, I belong to a few groups around too but not keen on the setup.

yes I have the same name on FL as here. And I don't go searching for people I know over there. I rarely ever go to FL anymore...maybe one time every three months if that. Then I get bored and forget about it again. I just don't like any of the setup at all there.

I exist on FL and that's about it. I would never do much there beyond the occasional hello, because they are geared to local events. And all the events local to me are not my cup of tea. (And that is where FL fails, forcing locals to mingle in hopes of matchmaking while castrating the options of more rounded discussions, outside of specific fetish topics or grousing conversations.)

If you actually know them well, you can search for their real email address and you will find their screen name. Some, like me, use the same handle. Other than that, your acquaintance will have to tell you their FL name to find them there. Or, you run across acquaintances in chat threads of common interest. I've run across a few from here on the FL boards.

I am on FL... same name. It is helpful for me because that is where I can find folks in my neck of the woods. Over here, it's all tumbleweed. :(

I use the same nick on here and fet. I've had people on both sites message me telling me they have seen me on one site or the other.

I use almost the same nic (I had to add some numbers) over there. I use it to promote the crafting munch, and to check out events. I will also use it right after an event to add people that I met at event. The messaging system works better for me on FL, as there is some formatting issues on cm when I message from my phone. I much prefer the discussions here though. I find it too fractured there with all the various groups. Oh, and I research diy projects in the BDSM toys craft corner group. There are some awesome ideas in there.[:D]
